Tiny Tasty Thai
Quaint restaurant with excellent variety of authentic Thai dishes that come piping hot straight out from the kitchen to your table. The owner/chef is a delightful Thai woman and usually busy preparing her amazing dishes behind a curtain which separates the kitchen from the dining area. The Tom Kha Gai soup and Red Curry are both exquisite and should not be missed. This restaurant is small, so get there early or be prepared to wait a bit for your food. Even if you have to wait, it will be well worth it!

My mum always said “if you having nothing nice to say, then say nothing” ..... sorry Mum. We booked the bird nest which looks amazing on the internet, but it’s far from that. In reality it’s a shabby deck with some broken wicker around it. The view is nice though. It’s a set menu first was a small capsicum topped with cheese, then salmon with a little salad garnish, some sort of soup that we couldn’t eat, a lemon sorbet then main I had beef and my wife had the snapper fillet both were just very average. Lastly came desert a large with choc dome that they poured hot choc sauce over to reveal ice cream and a chic brownie, this was actually ok. We also had a cocktail each mine was a lychee martini that had no lychee but instead a glazed cherry it was undrinkable. We also had two bingtangs the price Idr 3.3 million or $330 !!!! What a joke to say the least. What you see on the internet is nothing like it is in reality. I am only writing this in the hope no one else wastes there hard earned here. The waiter was friendly and the view was nice, but the food was way below par the cocktails a joke and it was all dimly lit so you couldn’t see just how bad it was. It’s not often I walk away from a restaurant feeling ripped off. Terrible!!!!
