If you want 1,000 count cotton sheets then Bata Bata is not for you
But if you want a trip down memory lane - Ubud 20 years ago then Bata Bata might just work for you. Just a couple of cabins, that while basic have a real charm to them and provide everything you need including a beautiful wee garden and a small rice field right next door. The beds are firm and if you need a tv to keep up with what is happening in the outside world - there isn’t one. There is an small upstairs restaurant that serves a good breakfast and the family not only cooks your breakfast they do everything else to make you stay as comfortable as possible. Bata Bata may not have all the bells and whistles but it a little gem

Mediocre food for above average money
Went here because of good reviews expecting tasty food of high quality. Had a salmon which was terrible, then grilled calamari which were not cooked enough and shrimps with strange taste. The only thing I liked were the chips which is really sad. Would not recommend this place. Maybe for half the price.

A Hidden gem!!!
Awesome authentic food. Great prices. Great services. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Worth the trip!!!
