Best meal I have had in Bali
Decided on here for my friends birthday dinner. We booked a table for 5 overlooking the rice paddies and wasn’t disappointed. The vies was magical. Food prices are very similar to Australian prices but the food was top quality. Started with two specialty cocktails which were Devine. Then onto the entrees, we chose the bread and shared a corn as a taster. Then onto the main affair. We choose one meat and 3 sides between the two of us which was way too much (the waitress did warn us on this) but there was just so much we wanted to try. Had the suckling pig, the potatoes, carrots and cabbage which were all insanely amazing. We were totally stuffed, until the waiter tempted us with a birthday dessert to share, and all cane out singing. Was such a great night and will visit here next time again for sure

Superb restaurant, but expensive!
First off, this a really super restaurant, however be prepared for sticker shock if you eat here! The space is beautifully done, with a kind of airy Spanish vibe to it. The restaurant backs onto a rice paddy and the outdoor terrace would be a lovely place to sit during the day for the views. We had a table for 6 inside, right next to the area where they were roasting pigs on the wood fire which was pretty nice. The menu is fairly short and the staff explained that the best approach is to order several dishes to share. For appetisers, we ordered a couple of sides of their wood roasted bread which was served with delicious oil and roasted garlic. Also a portion of their tuna ceviche, some jalapeno croquettes and two each of pulled pork, brisket and fish tacos. Everything was really good - well presented and fantastic flavours. I really couldn't fault it and everything got devoured. My favourites were the fish and pulled pork tacos - highly recommended! For mains, we ordered a 220g steak, the 8 hour wood roasted pork, fire grilled octopus and a flame grilled spring chicken to share. Also a couple of salads. All these dishes were lovely. Excellent flavours, especially with the smoke coming through from the wood roasting. The standouts were the octopus - which was amazing and even had a non fish eater amongst us wanting more - and the slow roasted pork. Very good indeed. The chicken was great - nicely spiced and flavoured and the steak was good. We also had a couple of orders of nitro ice cream made at our table for deserts. Tasty - especially the mango one. To go with the food, we had a bottle of Babich Pinot Noir from New Zealand, plus an extra glass of it, a few glasses of white wine and a couple of cocktails. All told, with service and tax it came to over 400K rupiah. Super expensive for Bali, but probably 50% of the total was down to the drinks. So yeah - the food is good and actually not too badly priced for what it is, but the drinks are killer expensive. This level of restaurant in the UK would have cost about the same or a bit more, so I'm not upset about the price and was aware before we went, but it is very pricey for Bali. Worth it? Yes indeed and I would go back for sure. The staff were also super efficient and helpful. Toilets were really nice, and midway through our meal there were fireworks over the rice paddy which was great. All in all a great restaurant for a special occasion.
