Amazing food with stunning view!
I got recommend this place by a local and Wow it really lived up to my expectations. Very Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful view and most importantly really tasty food. Their papaya juice is the Best i have gotten in Bali. They told me that it is because there is no additives. Just pure sweet papya. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic valley view, the food is very nice and organic and fresh, and the family there are also nice Balinese people
I have been to the Bali Panorama in Mayong 5 times now - all in 2014 It's a great place to visit because you also get an easy mountain ride up from Seririt (I live near Seririt) - I use a Kawasaki 250 trail bike or my HONDA Vario 125 fuel injected and either are more than capable of getting to Mayong with ease And it's cooler in Mayong, so you can escape from the heat of the coastal areas I live right on the beach and if there is not a sea breeze, we really notice the heat There are many Balinese things to see along the way to Mayong You go past the Governor's residence You go through Bubunan and Ringdikit and Rangdu You turn left to take the Munduk turnoff, otherwise you will go to Pupuan and miss Mayong altogether The directions say it is 8 kms from Seririt but it is more like 12-13 kms from Seririt Central to Bali Panorama The drive to Mayong is very scenic You can buy organic fruit and vegetables along the roadside And, when you get to the Bali Panorama restaurant, you have nice food to eat (They do have signage on both sides of the road but if you are going fast you might miss it) I like the Tomato Soup And the Rujak And especially the Babi Ketsap with rice They have Bintang beers and a range of fruit juices It is a family business and you will get to see the family members there The owner said they have been there 20+ years now I took some photos on the most recent visit because I saw a previous contributor had mentioned the view from the toilet I had not been to the toilet there so I made a point of going to see it this time and to take the photos They are correct - the view is really good from there! 'Open view' and 'unrestricted view' spring to mind If you go there you will see what we mean OK - here's the history of my visits there I came across an info page on Lovina restaurants one day early in 2014 and Bali Panorama and also Deutsche's Eck were mentioned - see my separate review of DE - it is also worth a visit I had previously thought I did not want to ride up into the mountains on my motor bike (I am getting on in years now) but for this one I made the effort, and I am glad I did I arrived there to Bali Panorama the first time and just took it all in and had Tomato Soup, Babi Ketsap with rice and the Rujak - yummy tastes I do not usually eat that much but I wanted to try a cross section so I can see if I want to come back All three were nice and I have returned to eat those ones again Also, the Lemon Tea is nice there and the owner told me how he made it - it is simple, just make tea and squeeze lemon juice in it and add sugar! Getting the correct lemons is the hardest part Second time was a month or so later, again for the pleasant scenic ride up into the mountains and the food is good there Third time also, good for a change and a ride and nice food Fourth time, was in July, same reasons, but this time the clove trees had their seeds growing I spoke with the owner and he said he has the clove trees The Indonesian word for cloves is cengkeh, pronounced 'cheng-ke' If you say cengkeh they will all know what you mean I bought one kilo of cengkeh from him - he just went and picked them himself and was back within ten minutes I took them home and we dried them in the sun for four days (bring inside overnight) and I ended up with approx half a kilo of dried cengkeh which I store in an empty one litre Jack Daniels bottle and I use them in cooking - now, that's organic! The Bali Panorama advertise themselves as organic food people and that is true You can speak with the owner about the various foods and he knows where to buy them and how much per kilo, and so on He is a nice man and speaks good English It is a recommended place to go to eat, the views are excellent, and you will come away from there happy that you did go there They probably seat about 20 people I hope you like the photos - it is easy to point the camera there and snap away Happy Eating !
