I went to Yogyakarta a view years ago. I tried pork meat balls somewhere and yet each time i googled it before my latest trip, the web took me to Bakso Ito. Having a great driver, he dropped me off at the location, giving up on finding a parking space. The restaurant was shabby, the waiters were a tad ignorant, maybe taking lead from the owner herself. It was a bit late, and it turned out as none of us can eat beef, i asked the person handing us the menu, if this place is selling pork meatballs, and put the stress onto the fact we CAN NOT eat beef. He told us the only "meatballs" that were made of pork were the dumplings and the stuffed bean curd. So we settled with those choices. The soup was far from warm, and the meatballs were not even close of having any taste of pork or anything we ever taste in a "pork meatball". As i told my "picky" self, I was satisfied enough to be able to try the "famous -as googled-pork meat balls". But i am sorry to say this will be my first and my last. I guess different people different opinion.

Taste good, and medium price.
They make good meatballs, but with same (or better) taste, I can eat somewhere much cheaper.. But still, it locates in a strategic place, so, not bad.

Must-try if you visit Jogja
Their specialty is meatball, and it taste reallllly good. A little bit more expensive than usual meatball restaurant, but it's worth it. Must-try: Bakso Goreng (fried meatball), Tahu Bak (tofu with meat).
