Old fashioned Chinese Restaurant
It’s been a really long time ago established. The recommended dishes was fried rice with kekian. This place should be for pork lover. It’s clean, bright place and also a toilet available. It’s contain 3 main area, waiting area, cooking show and table area to had a meals. Some advice, better order by phone first before come to take or to had dine in. So that could avoid a really long time queue. 2 portion of dishes coud be for 3 person.

Good taste with long waiting time
Somebody recommend this resto to me, and tell to call before coming. We try to call many time but it can't connect. Then we just directly go there and should wait for almost 2 hours to get fried rice. 😂.... the food is good and nice (because we love pork). But not good for waiting time.

Not your average chinese fried rice !
My family went here on July 2017. We walked from our hotel at Jl. Dagen to Jl. Bhayangkara, it's just a 10-min-walk. I asked the cashier and he said they're open only in the evening/night. They started cooking at 6 pm. Closed at 10 pm, but it's still crowded at 9.30 pm when I was there.. although the noodle and kekian (a kind of fish cake, their special ingredient) are already ran out. So, I suggest you come early if you want to try them all before they run out. PLACE The place is average but quite big. Not a fancy restaurant, but not a small food stall either. It's pretty clean and comfortable enough to eat. When I was there, there was a pretty long queue in front of the resto. They provide a waiting area for ppl who wants to take away. We wait for almost 1 hour to get out food. You also can watch them cook the food. They still cook with charcoal. FOOD The look is very average, nothing special. But, when we taste it... it really deserves the rave reviews! The aroma is very fragrant. The taste is humble but very enjoyable. They use pork generously. (It's not halal) The pork is not smelly that I like. Their specialty is kekian (a kind of fish cake). We tried it and the taste is really rich that we like. According to the waitress, their fave menu are fried rice with kekian & fried noodle. PRICE The price is decent for its portion and taste. We ordered fried rice with kekian (IDR 31.000), fried noodle (IDR 29.000), orange juice (IDR 8.000), and tea (IDR 2.000). SERVICE The service is average. But, the workers are very friendly. They answered our questions nicely and patiently although it's crowded. You know some famous local place that's crowded sometimes have cocky workers that they're kinda rude to the new customers ;) Overall, we enjoyed the food and recommend this place if you visit Malioboro. It's near Malioboro, Yogya.
