Place to hang out
I like the ambience of this resto. Nice design & instagrammable. On the first visit, I try delicious rawon. Forget the asinan.. Overall: a bit pricey compared to its taste. But if you are looking for cozy, not-crowded place to hang out.. this resto is recommended.

The atmosphere was good, and the interior was very old fashion They mainly served local food. Good place to hang out with friends while reminisce past memories.

Interesting interior design but food expensive and low value
The place has a unique interior design which reminds me of Batavia during the Dutch colony. If you sit upstairs you have an interesting view with the menu drawn on the wall. The food is not any better than street food but the price was much too high compared to the value of the meals. Apparently you pay for the ambience rather than food or service. So if you come for a cosy sit down place with international friends, this is the place for you. Please try to sit upstairs near the railing to get a view. The service however was lousy and inattentive. As I came early to make a reservation, I had to insist many times on nice tables with a view. Nothing was reserved as I came. I mentioned THREE times that we wished to make a reservation upstairs but apparently the waitress was so indifferent that she asked again to make a reservation downstairs. The food came before the drinks and I could hardly swallow it. Moreover they served me iced tea although I told them that I had problems with frosty drinks. There were just two(!) chips on my soto Betawi plate(Batavian soup with coconut milk) apart from the fact that the coconut milk was too thin. If you come here please order the cheapest side dish or a meal package and enjoy the interior design. The toilets could be cleaner either.
