Good food, good prices
Have eaten here several times. I've tried several of their balinese and indonesian dishes, which range from 30-50k in price. Portion size can be seen in the photo. All the dishes i've had have been super good, and they say all their groceries are locally bought which is nice. I'm going to eat here for ever lunch and dinner for the rest of my stay in Tulamben. I definately recommend!

Dobré jídlo, příjemná obsluha / Good food, friendly service
Široký výběr jídel za příznivé ceny. Jídla místní - nasi goreng, mie goreng, gado gado ... atd., i "klasická" - řízek, pizza, těstoviny. Nechybí čerstvé mořské plody a ryby a sladké. Wide selection at reasonable prices. Local food - nasi goreng, mie goreng, gado gado ... etc., And the "classic" - steak, pizza, pasta. Including fresh seafood and fish and sweet.

Sweet little find for good local food
Now, Tulamben is not exactly a culinary hotspot where you can expect to amazed by much but as we all know, it's nice to have somewhere to go where you are going to get a decent, clean feed at a good price. I also find that when you are in a place like Tulamben that you are better of sticking to local dishes as sometimes the indo take on a western dish can be rather... disappointing. At 50 bar I ordered one of my local faves, the gado-gado, which although being a local staple is surprisingly erratic depending on where you go. The gado gado at 50 Bar was spot on and the peanut sauce was one of the better versions I've had for some time. The Sayur Urab (steamed veggies with grated coconut) was also bloody good and had us coming back the next day for more. Don't go in there expecting the best food you've ever had, but I liked it. Being Indo though... it always depends on the day!
