Carlyle Hotel

There was smoking smell in my room, except for that, others were quite good.

그냥 무난한 중소호텔. 아침에 와플을 직접 구워먹을 수 있는데 맛있었다.

가격대비 괜찮은 곳입니다. 주차비도 별도로 받지 않습니다. 고속도로 접근하기에 위치도 좋고, 근처에 편의 시설들이 근처에 모두 있으며, 조식이 포함되어 있습니다. 호텔도 조용해서 지내기에 좋고, 유럽풍으로 지어진 곳이라 깔끔하고 방 크기도 큽니다.

Close to visiting friends

Not great with detailed cleaning. Found a syringe in the closet, then lighter and partially smoked cigarette hidden on top of the microwave on the coffee/tea stand. I brought both of this issues to the front desk. The person to took my syringe just put it in the trash. I suggested put it in an empty water bottle, or if there are a lot of meth guests, consider getting a sharps container.

Great value for the price, very clean and comfortable. A bit run down-broken mirror in bathroom and carpet transition from room to bathroom tile had a strip of black duct tape holding it down in place. But overall quiet and comfortable with keurig coffee maker microwave and refrigerator in the room and nice size room with betted bathtub

Clean place, Great location.

If I had to rate this hotel based off of the building and things in the room then I would give 5 stars. To start, we pulled into the nice garage under the building where we found plenty of spaces to park. Then we went up to the lobby and I loved the red victorian style decor and cute breakfast tables. The room was huge! Plenty of space and chairs for sitting. The bathroom was good sized with a shower/jacuzzi tub combo , closet, refrigerator, pod coffee maker and microwave. Now, I skipped the check in part because that is what brought it down to 4 stars. I seriously doubt the guy who ran the hotel and checked us in has ever taken a class on hospitality because he had none. He would not speak to me in full sentences and when I did not understand he would just repeat the same word louder and with a rude scowl. He said, "deposit" I said what? and instead of explaining that he needed a card for a deposit, letting me know how much it would be and when it would be returned to my account, He just said the one word over like I was a stupid child. After getting in to the room I sat down on the comfy chair only to find a dog chew. When I later told him about that he said NO, there are no dogs here only service. No apology for the cleaning staff missing that. Next day I went down and asked for an extra towel and I was told by a kid at the desk that he would send one up. Five hours later we got back to our room around 10pm and not only was there no towel but our room was not cleaned.

If you are looking for a "nice" place, this isn't it. The room was long overdue for a refurb. We are talking pealing wallpaper, molding grout, cracked mirrors, broken tiles, baseboards falling apart. I did not dare touch anything in the room for fear it would fall apart, or I would catch a communicable disease. Oddly, the common areas are fairly nice. But the rooms are a horror show. I would comment on the staff, but I only saw them on checkout. Most times, no one was at the front desk. This place can't last much longer.

So I prepaid online and it said $50 deposit, was charged $100 when I mentioned the kid said it’s $100 now. The water in shower never got hot. The “king” bed was on a queen frame so the side were hanging off weird. I do not recommend this place at all the parking is horrible and they need to seriously upgrade this old ass place

Extremely nice and comfortable room. Wish they had a toaster in their huge dining area vs one coffee maker with minimal extras. But they provide organic coffee!!!!

It’s going smoothly

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is consistently great. Very safe area close to downtown Campbell. The hotel and staff are great and we will definitely be coming back again sometime.
