Well, to start off, we stayed for 3 nights for 2 rooms on 1st of May 2022 on our trip to Kuala Lumpur, we went to check-in at 3.30 pm, however the room was yet available, so eventually have to wait until 4.30 pm for our room to be ready, sad to be said, the rushedly cleaned room had slimy floors in some areas. Then on 4th of May we checked out for 2 nights in Genting, during check-out, we were promised early check in of 12 PM for 6th of May stay since we are coming back for one more night. Therefore, we scheduled our trip back from Genting early also to adjust. Disapointingly, we arrived at 1.15 PM, was not given rooms until 3.15 PM. Please note that the staff guaranteed us the early check-in, and never subject to availability. Guess this is what happens when the hotel is too full, they can do anything to squeeze all their guests into any rooms available. Didn't expect this from Banyan Tree standards, I thought service is part of the price. Not to mention our request of a simple side by side rooms that was guaranteed also by the hotel staff, was eventually a no show.
