From the name, it is safe to say that the Pasundan train travels from or to the city of Bandung. The Indonesian Railways Company presents the Pasundan train as a rail-based mass transportation for Bandung to Surabaya route. This economy-class train specifically serves trip through the corridors of Bandung Kiaracondong Station and Surabaya Gubeng Station. Pasundan train's trip from Bandung to Surabaya, or vice versa, is 690 kilometers. The trip will take 15 to 16 hours, with train speeds between 60 to 100 kilometers per hour. The travel is only available for one time each day for a returned-trip. Pasundan train departs from Bandung Kiaracondong Station at dawn, precisely at 05:35. The trip will take approximately 16 hours 7 minutes, and scheduled to arrive at 21:42 in Surabaya Gubeng Station. Meanwhile, the departure from Surabaya Gubeng Station is available at 8:10 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive at 23:25 in Bandung Kiaracondong Station, after traveling for 15 hours and 15 minutes. With the affordable price, the passengers can take a long-haul express train with adequate facilities. The facilities available in Pasundan train include at least two air-conditioning units and one toilet on each passenger car, two electrical sockets for every four-seat, as well as a paid meal service in the dining car or through the help of the train attendants. Pasundan train provides a permanent seat with synthetic leather that is facing each other by setting two seats on the right and two seats on the left.
