Argo Parahyangan or more commonly known as GOPAR is the only executive class train that serves the Jakarta-Bandung route and vice versa. This train can travel a 166 kilometers distance in 3 hours. As the only train that serves the route, Argo Parahyangan train can carry 8,300 - 11,000 passengers each day. With up to 10 return trips, consisting of eight regular trips and two additional trips. Argo Parahyangan train belongs to Operational Region (Daop) II Bandung. The passengers can enjoy a beautiful scenery of Mount Priangan Barat along the way from Jakarta to Bandung. The train stops at several stations; they are Bekasi, Purwakarta, and Cimahi Stations. As for Bandung - Jakarta route, the train will also stop at Jatinegara Station before stopping at the destination at Gambir Station. From Bandung, the train departs the earliest at 5 am and the latest at 7.40 pm. As from Jakarta, the earliest train leaves at 5.05 am and the latest at 8 pm. Argo Parahyangan offers a different rate for the ticket. This train has economy class and executive class. For an economy class with AC, the ticket price is Rp80,000.00 per person. Meanwhile, for the executive class, the fare is ranging from Rp100,000.00 - Rp120,000.00 per passenger. The price depends on the seat, the subclass of the train, the schedule, and the period of ticket reservation. Argo Parahyangan train provides two classes of passengers, namely the economy class and the executive class. All train classes are equipped with air conditioning, toilets, and audio video entertainment facilities. Each passenger seat is equipped with an electric socket. Passengers in economy class may not be able to adjust the seats like in executive class passengers who can rotate their seats to face whichever direction they prefer. The executive class train also has a complete facility. Each passenger seat is equipped with reading lamps, folding tables, cushions, blankets, and footrests.
