The Perfect Getaway for Singapore Holiday 2022

It is not impossible. It is just rather difficult. It’s not easy to plan three different excursions that take place within a month, unless maybe you’re somebody who works in a travel industry and knows the ins and outs. Otherwise, setting up the perfect getaway requires… efforts.

It’s like planning a heist. You need all the tools and resources. You can’t do it all by yourself. Or can you?

Fortunately, we live in an era that blesses us with a key to it all. We can check everything online and start planning for the best Public Holiday experience in 2022. All we need, other than budget and internet access, is a platform that provides us with a bunch of reference and reservation access. Traveloka provides those.

Traveloka provides you with numerous top-notch services from accommodations to transportations. You can even look up culinary references in case you are hunting for some local delicacy. Not only that, the online platform provides you with multiple benefits that can help you save some dollars and let you have an experience of a lifetime. In short, it is the means to realize your perfect public holiday getaway. The only effort you need to make it memorable.

What’s on the Table?

To begin with, let us be clear and let us agree that the idea of how to perfectly spend a holiday differs from one person to another. Some might opt to go on a staycation as it is safer from Covid threat. Some others might choose to go on a more physical activity such as sightseeing. Eitherway, everybody has their preference.

But the question is never about which one is better than the other. Or which one is more convenient. Or which one is more memorable. You can’t compare the perks of enjoying staycation and the experience of going to a Sea World. They’re just not apple-to-apple.

Instead, the question is more on the planning aspect of the holiday. And as said earlier, Traveloka is the only one-stop platform you need to check to meet the ends of your holiday-planning activity.

What Does Traveloka Offer for Public Holiday 2022?

1. Assorted list of accommodation

Two things that stick out before discussing the line of hotels and resorts that are available in the platform are the promo and health quality of the service. Traveloka in Singapore has recently introduced a SingapoRediscovers program which encourages travelers to revisit the country like never before. It highlights several high-profile domestic spots that will make your trip memorable. Even better, the program also introduced vouchers that give you a 10 percent discount. As for the health aspect, Traveloka strictly adheres to the high standards of environmental public hygiene (SG Clean quality mark). It certainly gives comfort to the users, knowing that their destinations have been vetted and marked as safe, especially in pandemic time like this.

The two items complement the already established line of accommodation that the platform has to offer. Whether you are going on a budget or planning to spend your time in luxury, Traveloka has it all. You can find a 5-star hotel as easily as you find affordable lodging. With hundreds of options available, you can simply scroll ups and downs to find the one that best suits your needs. And rest assured, all are guaranteed to give a comfortable and safe experience of staying the night.

2. Going mobile

Maybe you don’t want to spend all of your time holed up in your hotel room. Maybe you crave for an adventure. Or maybe you want to check out that new place that has been out and about in your friend’s Instagram. Well, go for it. What’s keeping you from all the fun? Grab a cab and enjoy your holiday.

Or maybe, if you are somebody who enjoys a more hands-on approach, you can try booking a transportation ticket for yourself from Traveloka. You can enjoy multiple attractions while not being bothered with finding a cab. Traveloka now provides a fleet of new cars for your service. It is as easy as a few clicks away. Just choose your favorite 4-wheel and drive to your destination during your Singapore holiday 2022.

3. Food on the Table

Still at the subject of enjoying the upcoming public holiday, nothing is more pleasing than trying out multiple dishes that will blow your mind away. A holiday is not complete without giving a shot at famous local cuisines or international establishments. Singapore happens to be a place that provides both and Traveloka happens to be a source of reference.

You can find a list of oriental dishes that you should try while on vacation. It varies widely from Laksa to Bak Kut Teh, from spicy to salty. One thing they have in common is the fact that they will not disappoint your taste buds. But if you don’t have the stomach for spicy and exotic Asian food, you can always refer to your favorite international establishments. Singapore has the same amount of international and local food.

Of course, not every place offers the same quality. That is why the list is equipped with some reviews that can help you determine which joint you want to hit the next time you are looking for a lunch while holidaying. Moreover, there are other options to enjoy the spirit of vacation while fulfilling the belly. Traveloka offers a series of packages for you who do not want to be bothered with planning the whole thing. You can simply set the sort of holiday item you want and include a lunch or dinner package in it with only a few extra dollars. That way, it saves you from the trouble of looking at what restaurant you should visit during a trip to your preferred destination.

4. Destination: Singapore

This is actually the most difficult part to break down, given that everybody has different expectations on what their public holiday in Singapore should be about. It can be classified into numerous items depending on the nature of the activity (indoor, outdoor), the group of people (family, couple), the size of the budget (affordable, lux), and many others. Therefore, diving down into one item does not represent the needs of the others.

Regardless, let’s take a look at what sort of destinations you should consider when going on a public holiday trip with your group of people.

If you’re the kind of person who travels much with the family and enjoys everything with a large group of people, there are numerous combo packages you can take in Singapore. The one that stands out being a combo package in Sentosa Island which offers you a set of bungy jumping, museum visit, and segway fun ride – all for SGD 94 only. That is definitely the kind of activity that the most can enjoy. But if you are feeling more attracted to something more contemporary, head on to a virtual reality experience at Headrock. You can score out of this world moments with only SGD 30 in Traveloka. Not only that, if you check out the daycation package, you can have a double deal that can take you to the Universal Studios and S.E.A. Aquarium for SGD 99 only.

Meanwhile, if you are planning to spend the public holiday in Singapore with your significant other, you have the same amount of options too. Take your beloved to visit the butterfly part and insect kingdom with a ticket that costs you only SGD 12. But if you’re not feeling that cozy among reptiles and insects, try taking the best value package that can get you on a cable car ride, lunch at Arbora, and a visit to Madame Tussauds SGD 60. Moreover, here’s a little pro-tip. If you feel like you want to spark the romance between the two, book a reservation at the City skyline cruise that costs you only SGD 60.

Now that it is all laid out, the choice is yours to make. Talk to your family or love one about the destination. Have a discussion. Or if you are the kind of guy that likes giving surprises, be ahead of the curve and book a ticket already. Either way, Traveloka is always there providing you with whatever option you make during Singapore Holiday 2022.

Other Things that Matter for Your Perfect Public Holiday 2022

A day or two days matter when it comes to a long weekend. Public Holiday 2022 is a checkpoint in which we get to press the refresh button and kick off something new afterwards. We can’t afford to have a half-cooked vacation and end up returning home with a grumpy face. That would defy the point.

That being said, we should carefully consider what to do or how we are going to spend the three or four days of no work. The best start is to ensure that all the things that rotate around you are on an autopilot the moment you set foot into the holiday-mode.Obviously, you want to make sure that you will be free of interruption when you enjoy your fun time. Therefore, it’s best for all if all work-related stuff is finished beforehand. You don’t want to have to sign a few documents when chilling on the poolside, do you? Or maybe you want to make sure that your pet dog is safe and sound at the care of your cousin or a pet house.

Moreover, you also want to make sure that the destination that you select or the place where you will be staying follow the health protocol in relation to Covid pandemic. This includes the entrance checkpoint and regularly sanitized space. One cannot be too careful in a time like this. Fortunately for you, Traveloka cares by adhering to existing policy and encouraging tight health protocol to our vendors.

At the end, when all boxes are ticked, it’s time for you to really execute your public holiday plan. Go to Traveloka website or mobile app to check our latest deal and book a ticket for your favorite destination. Remember, today is the best day to make a reservation because you will never know if the price will change or the spot will be fully booked tomorrow. So set your plan right and let’s do this!
