Friendly staffs, good atmosphere, the room (2 bedrooms) quite small but lt’s ok 😍

We had a rough start at khanom Cabana but eventually it turned out great. We stayed 3 nights at the deserted Khanom Cabana and had the place almost to our shelf for the duration of our pleasant stay. Very strange that a place so high end as Cabana is almost empty but that didn't matter to us :-) Pool: We picked the place because we wanted to relax at the gigantic pool with slide. When we arrived it was a big shock to us that the pool was not clean!!! It had greenish floating in it and the slide was malfunctioning!! The receptionist quickly responded and told us the pool was closed the rest of the day. Lucky enough all was well the next day because the more than excellent staff cleaned it for us the entire day. The rest of our stay the pool was fine and clean. Room: We booked the family room at the top floor. It was a pleasant room with more than enough space for the entire family (2 adults and 2 children) and has a funny and very practical loft. The beds where a little harsh for our standards. Side room with one bed in it doesn't have any airco which means that on a hot day it is not suitable to use. We stayed during low season and temperatures didn't got to high. The bathroom is very high end and had all the comforts off home. Hot water is a little bit of a problem. But the shower was more than hot for our standards. Room also has a whirlpool outside. Unfortunately it has no hot water in it. This makes the pool more of a gimmick. eventually we used it only once. Breakfast: Also here a couple of flaws at the start here. We chose a croissants breakfast the first day only to realize that the croissants where not there! :-(. Eventually they repaired this mistake by giving us more than enough croissants the next day :-). Coffee is instant. For a place like the Cabana this below it standards! The rest of our Western breakfasts was fine. Staff: Cabana mostly focus's on Thai tourists. The whole Khanom region is focused on Thai. This also means that their is not a lot of English speaking staff around. That's probably why there where a couple of miscommunication situations. That didn't matter as much to us tough. The staff where very warm and friendly and tried their best to make your stay a pleasant one. Our youngest son (2 year old) had all the attention in the world and the staff was constantly playing with him and to most of his liking cuddling him. :-) Conclusion: Would I recommend the Cabana? Well yes! Great pool (when cleaned), great staff, more than ok room. I will definitely boom again when I come to Khanom.

Generally are very good place for relaxing, clean room, the beach is very clean but not divers breakfast and less quantity.
