Singapore Art Museum is located within walking distance of Fort Canning Hill and features the world's largest public collection of contemporary Southeast Asian artworks. It is a museum focuses on contemporary art practice and exhibits various art forms from sculptures, paintings to media and installation art in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Asia. Opened in 1996, this museum has collaborated with many international museums around the world to present shows on both local and international art practices. It opens from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 7pm and Friday 10am to 9pm. The entrance fee is SGD 10 for adults and SGD 5 for concession entry.
