I was greeted by a friendly male counter staff upon checking in. He was kind to concede and arrange a higher floor room upon my request. The room and bathroom were well lit and spotless clean. The bed mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too soft for my comfort. The mini fridge was cool enough to chill my beer and mineral water. The TV provided several entertainment channels for my pleasure viewing. There were enough stainless steel hangers for my clothings. The restaurant next to the hotel also sold yummy roasted chicken rice (Halal) with nice teh tarik. Only 2 cons I could think of were no anti-slip mat for the bathtub (hazardous for elderly clients), and the water boiler connector was mildly malfunction (required to rotate the boiler a few rounds for connection to the electrical base). Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel 81 Changi.

Hotel cukup bersih dan berada lokasi yang tenang. Baik untuk istirahat. Dekat masjid. Dekat sekali halte bus dan stasiun MRT sekitar 400 m, bisa jalan kaki. Ada beberapa rumah makan muslim India dan ada juga orang Yogyakarta cukup enak. Kadang-kadang kedengaran bunyi pesawat karena tidak jauh dari Changi Airport. Value for money

Great and clean room, quite big room for a budget hotel. Minus: the air conditioner is so cold, can't be set from the room.

Near the airport, very convenient place to stay if you want to catch an early flight. The room is not spacious but clean and enough for 2 people. A lot of food nearby event until late at night. Overall good place!
