I stayed here for 1 night with my husband. It was awesome experience because the hostel surrounding by cliff and the environment was quiet. The hostel was clean likewise its toilet even though the toilet is shared. The food is good. Moreover, the owner and their staff were so friendly!!

Stayed here with my little family when actually this local hostel supposed to be closed, but since I have booked a room via app, the owner welcome us to still come and sent us their staff to help us while they're away (i did direct confirmation a day after I booked). The place overall was excellent, even it located out of the way, but this is the perfect combo though! The atmosphere was very perfect to detox mind and soul..even your body. The food was good and the service was deadly excellent! The room was clean, tidy and neat.. For now, they offer only a room with sharing bathroom, but no need to worry, they keep the bathroom clean absolutely. I just didn't get the idea why they set up the shower's faucet so high, it would be a little difficult for a short person to reach it. They're on going build other rooms with the bathroom inside, and it must be a very good idea for people who want to try stay here but don't like the idea of sharing bathroom, may be for honeymoon-ers..
They also offer some outdoor activity, like sunrise hiking, it would be nice if you like to do some outdoor activity while you spend time here.

I didn't expect this hostel to be truly right according to what other visitors had recommended. Who want to enjoy rural life and want to adventure to mount batur. Try here.

The place is small but comfortable, share bathroom but they manage all the toilet to be clean and tidy. Clean towels are provided in the room, shampoo and liquid soap on the toilet, there is a shower with hot water too. I stayed in a single room with a fan, there was no problem, the air around was quite cold, I didn't need the fan at all. Lighting in the room is only suitable for resting. The view of the mountains around the hostel was amazing, the breakfast omelette was good, the owner and manager were also friendly, the location is only a few km from Toya Devasya. Not on the main road, but the scenery on the trip is worth every second.

Budget accommodation for backpackers. The road to get here is quite further than I thought. The highlight here is the Batur trekking tour provided by the owners (short trek 25$, medium 30$, long 40$ and most people will join the long trek)

The staff was very friendly and very helpful, just a pity when I arrived not offered a welcome drink, while foreign tourists were offered. When the time for breakfast information on the voucher already includes breakfast and I also still not offered, I know for a hostel with such a budget, it is usually only providing a paint-style menu, just not good for the time, I have to ask questions. The rest is very, very satisfying and is likely to come back again. Hopefully this comment is not a boomerang for me for the next stay, but an improvement for management. Note: make it a habit not to discriminate people from their skin types because we are all the same.
