Only 2 bath towels and a bathmat supplied. Roomis small so be ready to pack your luggage on the bed. If you are a big person, find another hotel. Good location though.

The receptionist was mad at me, and didn't listen to me until the end, because my English was bad.

Sorry I didn't expect that there is no shower cube. Shower is in the bath tube and this very uncomfortable and dangerous for old people. And also there is no restaurant in this hotel so in the midle of the night when you are hungry you can't find food you must go outside. Amd for baby you need to bring your own soap an shampoo because this hotel didn't provide for your baby as the other hotel did. But the location quite good. 2mins walk to MTR station.

She cleans the room everyday and change the towel, but never give extra tissue during 6 days stay. I like the location of the hotel near bus stop and MTR. Many restaurant, mall and souvenirs shops nearby.

Our stay is 4 nights 4 days: ✔️ Budget-friendly ✖️ we were welcomed by cockroaches (small to medium size) ✖️ we keep sneezing the whole time (probably due to dust and unchanged ancient curtains) ✔️ Aircon properly working ✖️ shower heater not working the last day ✖️ they collect the trash only 2 days the 2 remaining days was a mess ✔️ Very Accessible to MTR; Ferry (in case there are protests and no MTR & train) ✔️ Very Accessible to convenience store and fast food ✔️ You can leave your baggage upon check-out and just return before going to airport ✔️ Indian staffs are approachable

About

Hong Kong, or the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is one of the most densely packed cities in the world! Its massive population of over seven million people live in just over a thousand square-kilometre area. You will find high-density homes a very common sight here. Hong Kong is also known as the economic hub of Asia, as there are many businesses who call this place a home.

The history of Hong Kong goes back to 1942, when the British came and colonized the place, eventually returning it back to The People’s Republic of China in 1997. Hong Kong has grown tremendously since then, especially in its economy of tourism and business.

How to Get There

There are many direct flights to Hong Kong from Malaysia. A lot of airlines such as AirAsia, Malaysian Airlines (MAS), and more, will fly you from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) directly to Hong Kong’s airport, known as Chek Lap Kok International Airport. As it is located quite close by, a flight to the city will take approximately four hours only.

Public Transportation Available

Being a densely packed city, the people of Hong Kong uses a lot of its efficient public transportation to get around the city. It covers a lot of points of interests and traveling is made even more convenient with the Octopus Card - a prepaid card that allows for convenient payment of all transport fees.

The most popular method of transportation is Hong Kong’s MRT system. It is known to be one of the most extensive and most efficient in the world. It will take you around the city to all major interest points and it only has travel intervals of up to three minutes per stop, making it a very fast method to get around.

If you prefer buses, there are also aplenty around the city. A must-ride is the double-decker tourist bus that takes tourists on a short tour around the city. Its roofless top deck lets you take in the sights and sounds of the city at great comfort.

Tourist Attractions

Victoria Peak

Sitting at an altitude of 552 metres above sea level is the highest peak of Hong Kong: Victoria Peak, or simply known as The Peak. It is a very famous landmark and is often a popular point of attraction for visitors. To get up there, there is a specific train ride that will take you to The Peak; it operates all the way up to midnight and is a seven minute train ride. At the top, you will find popular attractions like Madam Tussauds Museum and the Sky Terrace 48.

Disneyland Hong Kong

A favourite for many, especially those with a family and children. Disneyland Hong Kong is one of the most popular theme parks in the world. It is a rather large theme park and may require more than a day’s visit to fully explore it, which is why there are many different tickets sold: 1-Day, 2-Day, or the Magic Access Membership - an entire year’s worth of admission. You can buy the tickets online before your travel to make things more convenient.

Ocean Park Hong Kong

If you are getting tired of the dense city, take a quick getaway with some animals at the Ocean Park. Visitors get to observe ocean and land mammals in close proximity at this place, offering a nice contrast to the concrete jungle of Hong Kong.

Where to Stay

Hotels

If you are one for luxury in the concrete jungle, you can check-in to the various 5-star and 4-star accommodations around Hong Kong. Look for hotels such as the Imperial Hotel, Kowloon district, or opt for the Regal Airport Hotel if you require a lot of convenience traveling to and from the Hong Kong International Airport.

Hostels

Backpackers and travellers on a budget, Hong Kong has quite a number of hostels for you. These affordable accommodations are, by no means, a setback when it comes to getting a place to stay. Places such as the YHA Mei Ho House is a very popular option for backpackers travelling from around all over.

Resorts

Family with children will fully appreciate a resort like the Disney Explorers Lodge. Located approximately over 800 metres away from Disneyland, it is quite possibly the best accommodation you will find if you are looking to frequent Disneyland.
