The hotel upgraded our room. Also the receptionist (I think the owner too) was considerate enough to bought our breakfast from halal vendors even though they had their own cafe. The bed sheets were clean. Satisfied. The cons, the were many temples and here plus its chap goh meh so quite jammed during night time. Also parking quite limited, but sufficient

This is not my 1st stay in Deview. Planning to swift to other hotel in near future if happen to travel to Penang. 1) The hotel staff named: Geraldine is un-friendly and bad attitude, found her sitting playing with phone. 2) We had a continual stay (3 days 2 nights) in a row & same room, but were unable to scan at the lift on Day2. Referred to Geraldine, she required us to validate the room card & saying is the a procedure at the hotel. 3) Aircon in room 330 is not cold.

Disappointed, bad room, bad service, self service because there's no staff, they service via whatsapp. I cancel my room and decided to move another hotel
