Since it’s very hot in Metro Manila as of this season, we decided to stay for one night in a good budget hotel in Tagaytay City.
Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- It’s located near Fora Filinvest Mall, McDonald’s, Mang Inasal, Seven Eleven, Andok’s, and more. It also has a nearby BDO that you can access on foot which is convenient. The hotel, however, does not have a covered parking space but nonetheless, the slotted parking space in front of the lobby seems safe and can accommodate up to 10 vehicles.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- All the staffs were very polite. The front desk staffs, the bellhops, the security were very courteous. They will greet you whenever you pass by.
Room: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- The room has a style of a clean and simple bedroom from home. Good thing that the temperature in the room was cool. It has a vanity mirror, closet, empty refrigerator where you can buy and store your own food and drinks, flat screen tv with DVD player and a side table with 2 chairs for your quick snacks. The in-room bathroom was clean and spacious. It has only one extra setting for the water temperature. Either you want it normal or warm. I could say it’s pretty functional and satisfactory as well. The wifi in the room was good too. The room is locked by a traditional key and a door latch for added security. We had no problem at all.
Restaurant: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- “Country Cafe” is where we had our breakfast. They serve plated breakfast where in you can choose from American Breakfast (bacon/ham/chicken sausage, sunny side up, toasted bread, butter), Filipino Breakfast (bangus/longganisa/tocino, sunny side up, garlic rice) and Continental Breakfast (pancakes). The cafe was spacious and can accommodate up to 50 guests. It has a flat screen tv as well and a simple ambiance. You can partner your breakfast with either a cup of coffee or tea however, you can’t have it refilled which is understandable.
All in all, for the price we paid, I can say we got our money’s worth and were pleased with the staffs courteousness.
