Rothel's Homestay

Rothel’s Homestay is a bed and breakfast located along Peneyra Road in Barangay San Pedro, Puerto Princesa. The family-owned property is maintained by the owners themselves, so that guests are ensured the best in hospitality and services. It’s a great budget-friendly option for all kinds of travelers.

The property has a total of four bedrooms, two of which are air conditioned while the other two are fan-cooled. All rooms are spacious and come with large beds and cabinets. Clean linen is provided in each room. Bathrooms come with a hot and cold shower and complete bath amenities. Guests may request for early/late check-in or checkout as long as they inform the hosts in advance.

All guests have free access to the property’s fully-functional kitchen, where they can prepare their own meals. To shop for ingredients, guests can catch a ride to the Puerto Princesa Old Public Market, which is about 10 minutes away. As an option, they can also try out the restaurants nearby such as Ke Nikko Bar and Restaurant, Seoul BBQ and Buffet, and Fat Tony’s Restaurant.

The homestay is also an ideal base to start exploring the island. Places of interest like the Palawan Museum and the Palawan Heritage Center are about 10 minutes away from the property. Honda Bay is 13 kilometers away by land and by boat.

Travelers coming from the Puerto Princesa International Airport will only need to take a seven-minute car ride to get to Rothel’s Homestay. Free private parking is available on site.
