Ricgem Place

I will talk about good things first: the room is clean, very clean. And the location is good, it's not too much far from the center street of the town but quiet to relax. And now is bad thing: room small with some mosquito. No hot water in bathroom. No wifi (wifi in lobby only). No accept you bring tower to tour if not their own tour. We did stay 4 nights: 1st is ok, next day we went to tour A and when we came back at night, our room was not made up so we have to sleep with dirty sheet and tower. Next day I asked to make up our room while we went out for tour C. They did. But they took away the tower and blanket also. When I came back, I had to ask again to provided us others. And last night we stayed there, we were so tired to always ask ask ask and we slept in dirty sheets and towers again (they not make up room again). One more thing, we book tour B at the hotel and they push us to others agency. (although they have tour B, maybe only us book so they need to combine) => no tower allow too :)). Wifi at lobby is very weak.

The woman who's always wearing red dress has an attitude problem. Not even accommodating. The internet connection was just a props? Can connect to the wifi but there's no Internet connection. I ask for it for several times they said they'll restart it but nothing happened. But there's also a man who's nice to us. And another thing is, we talk to that woman in red dress and short hair on our last night, and ask if can we order already our breakfast since we're going to leave early. But she said at 5am there's already available staff to accommodate us, but it was 6:15am when the staff was available. And we left at 6:30. The location though was great but there's a lot of hotel near there. Just find the best one. 👎 And the rice that was served was not even hot. Maybe that was from the rice served last day lol

The rooms are clean and are a bit bigger than the pictures make them out to be. There wasn't enough closet space though so maybe that's why the room seemed to have more space. Shower water was weak but the faucets were ok. No water heater (as expected). The bed was comfy enough (not thin or sunken down or anything). The aircon worked well but we couldn't make our wall fan rotate. Their deluxe rooms for 2 people are upstairs in the 3rd floor so it's quite the climb. They did help us get our luggage up although we weren't able to get help bringing them down for check-out. Their family rooms are on the ground floor so that's convenient. The place isn't located right beside the beach but walk to get there is so short, it probably only took us 5 minutes to get to the beach and the restaurant strips and the whole way, the roads are paved. So I wouldn't worry about the location if being mobile isn't much of an issue. Also, trycs are everywhere so you can easily get a tryc if you don't want to walk. They have wifi in the lobby/dining area, which is supposed to be a PLDT Fiber connection based on the equipment but we didn't get to try it out. They have clothes-hangers outside shared by rooms in the same floor for letting towels and swim-clothes dry. It's also very convenient that Kuya Richard booked our van transfers from Puerto Princesa and our island hopping tours for us. On the way there the van dropped us off at the terminal and we got on a tryc (on our account) to Ricgem. All tricycle drivers seem to know the place. When it was time head home, we were picked up by our van right at Ricgem so we didn't need to get on a tricycle. Our tour guide, captain, and chef for the island-hopping tour (Tour C) were nice and helpful as well. One of us got nauseous so they tried to help with that. The lifevests and snorkelling gear were all working well. Overall our stay with them was great. I highly recommend them for people who want to stay in El Nido on a budget.

The room looked exactly as what is shown in pictures. Easy check-in and check-out. With hot water. Room and restroom are clean. Location is superb, only 5 mins walk to port or main hub so area is quiet and neighborhood is safe. They have a generator in case of temporary power interription. Host gave us tour reminders and tips of new regulations like no plastic bags or water bottle allowed. Easy to contact staff for anything.

Nice place! Also malapit sa sea side. And kudos to their fellow Ilocano staffs. Ang babait and welcoming. My only negative comment will be the breakfast. It should be included sa babayaran na lang.❤️

I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights with 2 of my friends, and we had a pleasurable experience. The room was intended for 4 people so we had plenty of leg room The staff were kind and friendly throughout our stay. I like that their wifi was fast and stable (PLDT fibre at 30mbps) The room was clean, well lit, and the bathroom was ok. It had a weird smell when we first came in, but a little air freshener fixed that right away. They provided us with bath towels, so you can scratch that off the list of things you need to bring. Breakfast was ok for P100 and they serve free coffee (but I recommend that you instead explore the town proper, there are amazing places to eat breakfast, we only ate here once.) They also offer Lunch / Dinner, priced between P190-P250 (But again, I recommend that you go outside and explore) Overall, even though we spent most of out time outside, we enjoyed our stay here and we find all of the staff accommodating.

The location is just perfect. Far from the noisy part of town. Room is actually bigger than what it looks like on the photos. There's free tea and coffe every morning. The only thing I didn't like is how the front desks welcome the clients. They barely smile and misinformed the tour guide and told him we weren't checked in. We checked the list and found 3 of our names on the top of their visitors list. Don't know how she'll miss that. We almost missed out tour.

It's good. The room is clean, with AC and free wifi and just a walking distance to the island hopping tours meeting place. On our checked-out day we still have Tour C, so we checked out early but they were so generous to have let us leave our bags in the vacant room and even use their shower before we headed back to Puerto. Thank you so much. And they have free coffee :)

Good location and it's awesome to stay in Recgem Place but if the bed can be slightly bigger then the whole trip will be more awesome.Besides, we enjoying the Tour A & C with Recgem 2 boat for 2 days tour, good and friendly tour guide, boat captain, captain assistant and of course delicious food for lunch.
