PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION (PLEASE READ) COVID-19 GUIDELINES In compliance with the guidelines set by the national government, please refer to the following COVID- 19 advisories: As of 21 April 2022 (Updates are based on References: IATF Res No. 159, issue date 27 Jan 2022| BOQ MC 2022-003, issue date 31 Jan 2022) As part of our response to make your stays safe, clean, and sanitized, we are taking these extra steps in compliance with the government guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic for your peace of mind: 1. Our hotels follow strict COVID-19 protocols for everyone's safety. 2. Guests traveling for business are required to present two of the following documents upon check-in: • Current Company ID • Endorsement Letter from their company • Appointment letter • Or similar to prove business purpose 3. APOR guests are required to present necessary documents as needed. APORs include: • Health and emergency frontline service personnel • Government officials and Government frontline personnel • Authorized humanitarian assistance actors • Persons travelling for medical / humanitarian reasons • Persons going to the airport for travel abroad • Anyone crossing zones for work / business permitted in the zone and going back home 4. Requirements such as a confirmed booking with an accredited quarantine facility, length of stay, and other restrictions are set for travelers arriving to the Philippines. 5. Maximum occupancy for quarantine hotels is one person per room. A maximum of two persons per room for quarantine stays may be accepted for: • Families from the same household travelling together, especially those with minors. • Health and emergency frontline services personnel. • Guests requiring a companion: 17 years old and below; and 66 years and older Guests needing special assistance (e.g., Senior citizens, PWD, with chronic medical illness) 6. Food deliveries are temporarily not allowed for quarantine hotels to limit exposure for both staff and guests. 7. Delivery of medicine and medical supplies for quarantined guests is allowed until the hotel lobby only. The items will be delivered to the guest’s room by our staff. 8. Effective 08 November 2021, as announced by the government under Alert Level 2, regular hotels may accommodate all non- quarantine related stays: • Requirements for guests 18 years old and above: o Fully vaccinated card; or o Negative swab or saliva-based RT- PCR test done within 48 hours prior to check-in date. • Requirements for guests below 18 years old: o In areas under Alert Level 2 and 1, the swab or saliva- based RT-PCR test shall not be required, subject to the regulations of the LGU concerned. • Guests from different households can stay in 1 room with the above requirements are met. 9. As of 28 January 2022* Effective 01 February 2022, entry, testing, and quarantine protocols for international arriving Filipinos and foreign travelers allowed in the country shall be as follows: 1. Fully vaccinated international arriving passengers are required to present a negative RT-PCR taken within 48 hours prior departure from the country of origin. Upon arrival, mandatory facility-based quarantine is no longer required for travelers without symptoms of COVID-19. International arriving passengers must have the following proof of vaccination against COVID-19 recognized under existing IATF regulations: a. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their spouse, parent/s, and or their children traveling with them vaccinated abroad, and non-OFW vaccinated abroad may present the following: • Their national / state digital certificate of the foreign government where they were vaccinated without the need of a reciprocity agreement • Vaccination certificated issued by any of the states of the United States of America, whether digital or physical; • Vaccination certificates issued by any of the provinces and territories of Canada, whether digital or physical. b. Foreign nationals vaccinated abroad may present any of the following: • World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis (ICV) • National / state digital VaxCertPH under the reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF. c. International arriving passengers vaccinated in the Philippines may present the following: • VaxCertPH • WHO or BOQ issued International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis (ICV) or • Any variable proof of vaccination 2. For unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or individuals whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated, they shall be required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the country of origin. They are required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test, taken on the 5th day. 3. Children above 3 years old are required to present a negative RT-PCR test before boarding the flight. In the absence of a negative RT-PCR test upon arrival to the Philippines, they shall be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the 5th day, to be accompanied by the parent/s or the accompanying adult/ guardian travelling with them. 4. Quarantine protocol for symptomatic international arriving passengers regardless of their vaccination status, subject to assessment of Quarantine Medical Officer (QMO) on duty are as follows: Intercepted with mild symptoms • For RT-PCR testing on the 5th day • Arrival date is day (1) one of quarantine period • If RT-PCR testing on the 5th day result is positive, the recommended additional days of facility- based isolation shall be followed. 10. Under Alert Level 1: All Red Planet hotels are currently used as Multi-Use Hotel and a Regular Hotel, except for Red Planet Manila Bay which is currently a quarantine facility. 11. Under Alert Level 3, the maximum occupancy for non-quarantine hotels is 1 adult. Sharing of rooms for 2 adults is allowed for guests who are staying in the same household. Only fully vaccinated individuals will be accommodated as per guidelines set by the local government. 12. Housekeeping services are limited in all community quarantine statuses in compliance to the IATF protocols for reducing risk of transmission of the COVID-19. 13. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our hotels may request additional documents from guests to validate their identity and / or purpose of stay, and other necessary information, in accordance with the Data Privacy Law. 14. Our hotels are currently on reduced front desk operating hours. Latest check in time is at 10PM. 15. We encourage our guests to check announcements and other helpful information from the official websites and social media accounts of the Inter-Agency Task Force or the local government units 16. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and fines will be charged to violators. However, designated smoking areas are available in each hotel.
