The fully air-conditioned rooms at Punta Elai Resort range from the usual Standard Room for two to Duplex units for up to six people. Dorms are also available for large groups. The rooms are furnished with comfy beds, fresh towels and beddings. Booking any of these rooms comes with a free complimentary breakfast.

Punta Elai Resort has a circular, adult-size swimming pool and a kiddie pool with water slide and fixtures. The resort also offers swimming lessons for first-timers. The pool area is also staffed with lifeguards. An on-site basketball court is also available for rental. The function hall is big enough to host special events from birthdays, weddings to seminars.

Guests are also encouraged to explore the nearby sea and partake in water activities like banana boat rides, coaster rides, jet skiing, and swimming. They can also venture out to nearby attractions like the Monfort Bat Cave, Maxima Aqua Fun and Hagimit Falls. The decks are also available for rent to guests who only plan to use the resort facilities for the day only. Resort guests may bring their own food and drinks, subject to corkage fees.

Punta Elai Resort is located in Barangay Tagbaobo, Kaputian, in the eastern coast of Samal Island. It is an hour away by car from the Samal Ferry Terminal.
