Pannzian Beach is a gorgeous seaside getaway tucked away in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The beach, which dates back to the Spanish era, was family-owned for over two centuries, until the owners decided to share their private sanctuary to the public.
At Pannzian Beach, the beauty is in its surroundings. Spread throughout the resort, guests can choose to stay in either the Duplex or the Cottage, which overlook the beach area; the Kayo Rooms, which are located near the restaurant and can cater to bigger groups; or the Lodging Rooms, which are located in the main house and are further from the beach and campgrounds. Rooms are cozy and clean, and come with basic amenities such as soft beds, an air conditioning unit, a private bathroom with a hot and cold shower, and complete bath amenities. Select rooms come with bunk beds, a loft area, and a private balcony.
Given the limited access to the internet and technology, the resort offers a specially curated list of activities and experiences for guests. From bird-watching, to fishing, and painting, to winemaking -- guests will surely find a thing or two to keep them busy during their stay. Adventure-loving guests can also join treks, while trips to the nearby spring and Kabigan Falls can be arranged.
Pannzian’s restaurant serves a mix of heirloom recipes and a fusion of Filipino and international dishes. Using only the freshest ingredients sourced from the local community, each dish gives a glimpse of the area’s rich culture and love for food.
Pagudpud is approximately 10 hours away from Metro Manila by car. Travelers coming from the Laoag International Airport will need to take a two-hour drive to get to the property.
