We would like to advise you that in compliance with Philippine Executive Order 26 entitled Providing for the Establishment of Smoke-Free Environments in Public and Enclosed Places, the hotel management shall restrict any act of smoking within the property, including but not limited to all guest rooms and suites and its balcony, hotel entrance and lobby, bars and restaurants, and Casino gaming area. The order allows only one (1) Designated Smoking Area per establishment. Thus, Midas Hotel and Casino’s designated smoking area will be located at the Casino Mezzanine floor.

We would like to inform you as well that those who would violate the smoking ban mandate may be reported to the City Health Office. In addition, the hotel will charge offenders with corresponding cleaning fee that is equivalent to half-day room rate and the cost for actual damages incurred (i.e. carpet and linen burns, cigarette burns on hotel room fixtures, cigarette ash residue, etc.) based on the hotel management’s assessment.
