Staff are very warm and accommodating. The texture of the sands is quite different from other stations very powdery. Good selection of breakfast buffet not too grand but it is what it is. But the wifi connection is quit slow but its okay. Most important is the beach. Thank you Henann Prime will come back soon. ❤️

The place is so cozy and relaxing. Easy access to the beach and to a lot of place to eat. Also for water sports. So happy that we choose this place for my birthday. Also, the staff are accommodating and friendly. We will definitely go back to this hotel pnce we get to see boracay again can't wait. We just sad that we booked other hotel ahead of time for the remainder of our stay. But next time we will just choose royal park hotel. The food is amazing also 10/10!

Our family enjoyed very much on our stay in Microtel the staff are very accommodating, the location feels very exclusive, the rooms are clean and spacious, the amenities are good. They have board games, table tennis and pool. They have internet in the lobby, the rooms has lesser connection. And they have water where you can refill if you have tumblers. I highly recommend this place for rest and relaxation. Although food is quite expensive in this area and has lesser options

Reality lived up to the pictures, the room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfy. The included breakfast was great every day. Argean and the team were all very friendly and accommodating and took care of us-really lovely. The location is great for a bit of peace and quiet but still a quick walk to the beach. The only downside is that while the rooms have good soundproofing, the corridors are not soundproof. So if you end up staying at the same time as inconsiderate people who make noise early in the morning or late at night, it's going to disturb you. Without them, it was perfect.

Loved Hennan. The customer service was next level. Facilities were just amazing. I purchased the room. With pool access and absolutely loved the experience. The buffet breakfast was excellent! I wish the massage hours were extended! The only criticism Ai have are the mosquitoes. Over all, I highly recommend Hennan Prime Hotel Boracay. I would go back for sure!

About

shutterstock_533224276

After several months of rehabilitation, the world-famous Boracay Island reopens its doors to tourists. Along the stretch of this tropic paradise four-kilometer, White Beach is Station 1. This part of Boracay’s main beach is the most favored retreat spot wherein you’ll find high-end hotels and resorts, luxurious expensive facilities, and stunning beach views. Interestingly, this station is also the most peaceful among the three stations of White Beach.

How to Go

By plane

Booking direct flights is the fastest and most convenient way to reach Boracay. From Manila, there are daily flights going to Kalibo International Airport or Caticlan Airport via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, AirAsia, and SkyJet Airlines. Take note that airfare to Caticlan can be more expensive than in Kalibo. Either way, you need to get to the Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Jetty Port in Boracay via boats. Then ride a motor tricycle or your complimentary shuttle service from your hotel to Station 1.

By ferry

You have two options if you want to travel on a ferry or boat ride to Boracay. You can head to Dumaguit Port in Aklan or take a combination of land and sea travel through the Roll On - Roll Off (RORO) from Batangas port to Roxas port then to Caticlan.

By land

If you prefer to travel by land from Manila, you can ride a bus scheduled to Batangas port. Take an overnight ferry to Odiongan, Romblon. Transfer to another boat at Looc or Santa Fe port heading to Boracay.

Getting Around

Before you can experience Boracay’s paradise, take note that there’s a new entry process to this island. You have to show your confirmed Boracay hotel reservation at the designated verification booth at both the Kalibo and Caticlan airports.

Taking a lovely walk on the beach is the best way to explore the stretch of Station 1. Or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear turquoise waters.

Tourist Attractions

Willy 750x469

A tourist attraction by itself, Station 1 is considered to be the upscale section of Boracay’s White Beach. But it doesn’t mean that all are glitz and glamour in this station. One of the famous natural landmarks here is Willy’s Rock. Named after the resort in front of it, this oddly shaped volcanic formation is one of the most photographed sights in the area.

If you want a change of scenery, you can hop onto the nearby attractions. Check out other must-see spots coming from Station 1 such as Ariel’s Point popular for its high “diving boards” and the private island of Crystal Cove with its mini coves and picturesque views.

Beyond the powder-white sand beach, you can also hike at Mount Luho, the highest point of the island. It’s just a trike away from Station 1 to the entrance wherein you’ll see the breathtaking view of the island at the peak.

Top Things to Do

Although Boracay has reopened and geared up for tourists, rehabilitation is still on the works. Popular water activities and sports such as parasailing and paraw sailing are allowed but must be coursed through hotels, resorts, and Department of Tourism accredited travel agencies. Designated pickup points for these activities are assigned on the station.

Puka-750x469

You can also book an island hopping tour wherein you’ll have stopovers at these islands and beaches including Balinghai Beach, Crystal Cove, Crocodile Island, Puka Beach, and Magic island West Cove. Take a leap of faith while cliff diving at Magic Island. Its cliff diving site operates from 6 am to 6 pm.

Saving the best for last is experiencing Boracay’s golden hour. Arguably one of the best sunsets in the country, if not in the world, sunset viewing is a surreal activity that you should not miss.

Where to Eat

Aria Cucina Italiana

Take a short break from your beach-ready body and chow down on gastronomic delights at these fave restos in Station 1. Your Boracay trip wouldn’t be complete without a serving or two of Banana Choco Peanut and Mango Milk at Jonah’s Fruit Shakes & Restaurants. Craving for burgers? Head on to Merly’s BBQ for the grilled sweet and spicy Chori Burger (with chorizo) or Longga Burger (with longganisa). You can also try the Four Cheese Pizza and Oyster Pizza at BarLO Resto Lounge in Two Seasons Boracay Resort.

For more local fare, there are carinderias or local eateries along or near the main road you can go to. Take note that single-use plastics are banned all over Boracay.

Nightlife

Unlike the previous years when Boracay’s party scene won’t stop until you drop, the island’s nightlife is more regulated now. But it doesn’t mean that the nightly parties aren’t vibrant anymore. For an excellent selection of cocktails, live DJs, and great music, Club Paraw is your go-to spot.

Where to Stay

Royal Park Hotel Boracay

For luxury stays, Station 1 has upscale beachfront resorts and hotels like Astoria Boracay, Two Seasons Boracay Resort, and Discovery Shores Boracay. You can't go wrong with more budget-friendly accommodation options. Book a stay at Lola’s Lodge, Boracay Backpackers, La Bella Casa de Boracay, and Royal Park Hotel Boracay. Only guests of DOT-accredited resorts and hotels will be allowed to enter the island so pre-book your rooms before arriving.

Travel Tips

  • Smoking, drinking, eating, and bringing of umbrellas as shade are not prohibited along the White Beach. Do your part by not littering and bringing your reusable water.
  • Don’t forget to apply sunscreen or sunblock to protect against the harsh exposure to the sun.
  • Befriend not just strangers but the locals as well. Also, immerse yourself with Boracay’s culture and take part in the island’s festivities such as Ati-Atihan in January
