Mines View Park is a small area, so walking around is the most ideal mode of transportation. If you’re carrying a heavy load, you may opt to take a tricycle.
Mines View Park’s souvenir shops and silverworks stores are the main attractions. You can buy locally made home décor or toys for your loved ones. Visiting the Good Shepherd Convent to buy ube jam and peanut brittle is also a must.
Tourists also get the chance to try on a traditional Ifugao attire, complete with a spear, and have pictures with the indigenous people. Tourists can also ride on a horse and have a picture with it. Finally, head on over to the observation deck and get a breathtaking view of the Cordillera Valley.
There are several food stalls dotting Mines View Park, and they usually serve street foods. If you prefer casual to fine dining, do go to Zen’s Restaurant at Mines View Park Hotel. Many of their viands are served with strawberries, popularly grown in the region. Best to try the chicken and pork adobo with this sweet twist.
Mines View Park closes at 8PM every day, so there’s no chance for you to check out anything there after dark. However, there are several establishments open at night just down the road such as Rumah Sate Indonesian & Malaysian Cuisine and Dine and View Restaurant.

• When in Mines View Park, bring cash. There are no ATMs around.
• Learn to haggle as much as possible, but there are items that are sold by bulk at really cheap prices (strawberry jams can be sold 3 bottles for PHP100, for example)
• Although popularized in a local movie, it is not recommended to scream at the Mines View Park observation deck.
