Ala Amid Bed and Breakfast is a homey three-star property located along Barangay San Manuel in San Pedro, Puerto Princesa.The family-owned B&B offers the best of Filipino hospitality as well as cozy and affordable lodgings.
Checked-in guests can choose among the property’s 14 rooms, which are divided into four different types: the Deluxe Room, the Superior Room, the Family Suite/Barkada Room, and the Couple’s Room. Room sizes range from 30 to 50 square meters. All rooms come standard with an air conditioning unit, a 10-inch hotel-grade memory foam mattress, a 32-inch LED cable TV with USB slot, free WiFi access, a mini refrigerator, a safety deposit box, an electric kettle, a clothing rack, and a work desk. The en suite bathroom comes with a hot and cold shower and a full set of toiletries. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea are provided per room. Daily housekeeping and room service are offered.
Sabie Kitchen, the B&B’s in-house bakery and cafe, serves a delicious selection of local and international comfort dishes daily. Should guests require a more private setting, in-room dining can be requested. Other restaurants to try out nearby include Ka Inato, McCoy’s Pizza House, and Tadzmaki Sushi.
The property also features an outdoor swimming pool and a sandbox play area for kids. Tours to Puerto Princesa's top attractions such as Honda Bay, the Underground River, and Baker’s Hill can be arranged.
Travelers coming from the Puerto Princesa International Airport will only need to take an 11-minute ride to get to Ala Amid Bed and Breakfast.

We were amazed how clean and spacious the room was. Toilet was so clean and with complete amenities too. Fast wifi connection and a nice small balcony. Breakfast is included and great food served with coffee. They have nice small restaurant by the pool. amazing pool. Great location. Close to Robinsons. The hotel can also help you organize tours. Pick up at the hotel itself which is very convenient. Staff are helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel for couples, family or with friends. No complaints, we were very happy during our stay.

Great stay ! They are true to their tagline “Comfort doesn't need to be expensive” Budget stay but great service. We stayed in a couple room with balcony (pool view). Bed is comfortable. Clean rooms and bathroom. For a 3 year old place, the facilities look new. Pool was clean and food were great too. All staff are friendly and very responsive. Will definitely go back and recommend.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and it was very satisfying, the staff are friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed swimming in their pool after our underground river tour. They served breakfast beside the pool. The room is spacious and with hot shower.

So far we had a very pleasant stay. The crew were courteous and respectful. The place and room were clean. I commend the breakfast menu, it was not that festive but all was great. Just want to suggest though if you can add a bathroom rug or mat and an extra trash bin in the room not only in the restroom. The AC also was not that cold. I am not sure why but we will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Puerto Princesa city! The room was spacious and clean, with complete amenities. We even got the room with balcony facing the pool. We got a great deal for the room and it even included buffet breakfast. The location is far from downtown area, but it is easy to commute since there are several tricycle passing by at the hotel entrance. Overall we had a great stay at Ala Amid, the place is definitely recommended!

Fantastic stay! Accomodating staff, warm swimming pool, hot shower, available tours, and cooperative with the surprise anniversary celebration ng husband for me 😊 Great 3-day stay here, we’ll surely be back here if we plan to go back to palawan ☺️

Approachable staff, comfy bed, with welcome drinks, delicious buffet breakfast though konti lang pagpipilian na food. All in all it was an awesome experience. Till next time Ala Amid.

It’s worth the price. Place is so relaxing and tranquil surrounded with trees. Food is great. Staffs are nice. Such a recommended place.
