This is my first time staying at Amaris Thamrin and the experience I got was the friendliness of the Amaris staff who were incredibly helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast menu was varied. If I go to Jakarta on business again, I will definitely stay at Amaris Thamrin again, and of course I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will be on business in Jakarta.

It's a good choice to stay with a low budget, the staff is also friendly and helpful. Going down is also directly to the mall, everywhere is close, GI is just a walk away, so far if there is time will definitely stay here again.

For on a budget traveller and wants a place to put his head to sleep, it's more than enough. The room & bathroom is clean. They provide basic amenities of towel, toothpaste n brush, bottled water. Hot water can be obtained at the common filtered water place.
I requested for iron and it was sent within 10 minutes with the board. Also got late check out until 1 pm without further payments. Breakfast spread was okay & enough to fill d tummy for a day out. I love the daily ginger tea. Staff was gracious.
Location was great for me as shopper. The hotel is above the Thamrin City Mall with many local vendors selling local product of clothes etc. It's walking distance to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. For a mere rupiah, Grab took me to Sarinah Mall and Djkarta Theater XXI (cinema) about 2km away.

The hotel was accessible, good location very nearby to many malls and food centers but the AC somehow broke during the stay and took a bit of time to be handled. Outside of that, the rest is OK. Good for just small stays where you need a place to sleep and rest.
