The place is 1 hour away from Subic Bay. Upon entry, the place looks like a desolated place but as you go further you will find a resort-like place. There's a kiddie pool, a pool for an adult (about 5 ft deep) and a playground. The place is a beautiful sight during nighttime because of the lighting. We booked using different accounts but the front desk officer somehow assumes that we are a group of travellers and placed us in the"villas". We experienced a delay during the check-in due to a power interruption. Issues on the toilet were also escalated as it was smelly, I believe they have issues at the sewer since we again experience the smelly bathroom the following day. At night, there was a heavy downpour and experienced another power interruption but when the power was back the personnel checked rooms where air condition units are not working. Some of the facilities such as the intercom are not functioning as well but they have given us mobile numbers to call if we have any concerns. Complimentary water and non-complimentary beverages are available in the room. Complimentary coffee is not also available (I will not look for it if it was not written on the paper located in the room.) Television (no available channels) and fridge are not also functioning (not sure why it's unplugged). Only two sockets are functioning for charging purposes. Overall the facility is unsatisfying may be due to (1) it's already old and (2) they are undergoing a renovation as mentioned by its staff. However, the people from the front desk, to the lifeguard (available even at night), and room attendants are all friendly and very attentive to our needs except during breakfast when it took 30-minutes waiting time for my nieces ' breakfast to arrive. So I am advised to get at the breakfast station as early as 7 am and order immediately since some of the choices are no longer available if you are late. Bottom line we still got what we pay for. We got it cheap plus breakfast is already included. So my overall rating is neither awesome nor unsatisfying but satisfying.

Over all good, staff are all friendly and accomodating. But food is very costly with the serving and taste and also cold when served. We occupied 5 rooms 2rooms having issues on bathroom/toilet flush.

About

Subic is a bayside town located in the province of Zambales famous for being a former United States Navy Base and facility. Today, it has grown into a booming municipality where major companies base their warehouses and maritime businesses. Subic is also known for its deep blue waters and idyllic scenery surrounded by rolling hills and mountain ranges and dotted with many family and tourist-friendly resorts and attractions. Being just a few hours’ drive away with the promise of its calming laid back vibe, it’s no wonder why Manilenos consider it as one of their favorite destinations for quick weekend trips.

Why book Subic Villas?

ocean adventure

A trip to Subic is not complete without your friends and families in tow, which means you need all the space you can get. Villa rentals are designed to be comfortable with shared spaces where everyone can lounge and enjoy each other’s company. Villas in Subic are abundant and come in different sizes to accommodate the varying needs of guests. But regardless of your choice, the standard Subic villa would usually come with a separate living area, bedrooms, and a kitchenette where guests can prepare their own meals. Despite being more expensive on paper than the regular hotel rooms, villas will give you more value for your money as you are given the luxury of space and more in-room amenities.

Types of Villas:

Subic Holiday Villas

  • Family Villa - Family villas are one of the most popular choices as it offers multiple rooms and large living spaces where guests can gather. These villas are also designed to be destinations in themselves so that guests can stay in and relax.
  • Beachside Villa - Being a bayside town has its perks and the view is one of them. Booking a beachside is always a good idea, no matter where you are because the views are almost always fantastic. This also eliminates the hassle of catching a ride to the beach as the water will only be a few meters away from your doorstep.

  • Subic Attraction & Activities:

Ever since the construction of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac-Expressway (SCTEX), Subic’s tourism industry has grown in both numbers and quality. It has evolved from just a former US base with imported goods, to a one-stop tourist destination for all ages.

    ocean adventure

  • Go on a safari adventure - Zoobic Safari is unlike the typical zoo where guests simply get to see animals in cages and enclosures. Here, you get to interact with them and see them roam and run free in their natural habitat. The zoo has a beautiful white tiger (which is safe to pet!), camels, exotic birds, and more.
  • Take a sunset cruise - The Subic Sailing Club offers sailing lessons and boat rentals for all kinds of events and special occasions. But celebration of not, if budget permits, exploring the calm waters of Subic Bay during sunset with great company, good music, a cooler filled with drinks, and enough food to last the trip, is the recipe for an unforgettable trip.
  • Shop ‘til you drop - Subic is one of the original places in the Philippines for outlet stores, way before the ones in the Tagaytay-Nuvali area. You can’t leave without at least checking out the sores and sifting through the bargain bins for branded items are more than half off.
  • Go on a nature trek - One of the most unforgettable experiences offered in Subic is a nature hike across one of the last rain forests in the area. Your guide will lead you through a beautiful canopy of trees, flowing streams, and smooth inclines safe and easy enough even for kids.

  • How to get around:

Subic is connected to Metro Manila through the North Luzon Expressway and SCTEX. It is a pleasant two to four hour drive depending on the traffic.

Getting around the city is easy enough even if you don’t have your own car as the transport system is efficient and accustomed to the regular influx of tourists. Jeepneys are the best and easiest way to get from one place to another as they are color coded per destination and are very much affordable.
