The hotel is good also the service, however there is no floor mat inside 🙂 and no wifi in room, the wifi is available only at lobby.

We stayed there for 5 nights and on our first day our room was on the 3rd floor, so we requested for an available room at the ground floor then the front desk arranged a transfer for us on the next day making our stay more convenient, so we don't have to walk on the stairs to the 3rd floor. The staff were really nice and helpful, we asked for extra hangers and they sent them to us quickly, the bellboys were also helpful carrying our heavy luggage. The room was clean and relaxing, we definitely enjoyed our stay!

About

Boracay Island

Declared one of the most beautiful islands in the world by renowned publishers like Conde Nast and websites like TripAdvisor, Boracay’s iconic white-sand beaches have helped put the Philippines in the radar for tourism. For years, Boracay was lauded as a party island, and indeed it was. But on its own, even without the bars and commercial areas, the island is undeniably a paradise. With its gentle coastlines and shallow blue waters, it’s easy to see why it’s been voted number one. The 10-square kilometer stretch is packed with 360-degree views, an exhilarating windsurfing scene, and tropical wonders.

Why book a Boracay Villa?

Villas have become a more popular option especially for beach trips. Couples in particular would prefer to stay in villas as they provide a more romantic ambiance compared to regular hotel rooms. Boracay villas are more often than not situated by the beach so that guests can enjoy easy access to the water.

If you’re traveling with a group of four or more, booking a villa should be the more comfortable and budget-friendly option. Resorts usually give special deals to families and bigger groups. In addition to being the more comfortable option, booking a villa eliminates the hassle of having to book multiple rooms, which could get difficult when traveling with a big group.

Types of Villas

Boracay’s many resorts and hotel chains offer a variety of villa types to suit all kinds of budgets. If you haven’t decided which type of villa is best for you, here are some recommendations.

  • Beachfront Villas - Beachfront villas are the most popular choice in Boracay. These villas are just steps away from the water and sit almost directly on the powdery white sand. If you are willing to pay a little extra, your beachfront villa could offer unobstructed views of the beachfront from your bedroom window.
  • Family Villas - Family villas are great for groups of four or more as these usually offer multiple rooms. This type of villa rentals will have enough sleeping space for your entire group and extra lounging areas where everyone can hang out comfortably.

  • Destination Attractions & Activities

First-time travelers mistake Boracay to be just a beautiful party island, but there’s more to it than just that. If you haven’t finalized your vacation itinerary, here are a few suggestions to keep in mind:

    Puka Beach Boracay

  • Go cliff diving - Boracay has a place called Ariel’s Point where adventure junkies can leap off from a 15-meter high wooden platform. There are also lower platforms available for those who want to test out the waters. The eco-adventure paradise is a favorite day trip destination for both locals and tourists. They also offer other water sports activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. Guests are treated to a delicious lunch buffet filled with all kinds of delicious local fares as well as free-flowing drinks.
  • Hop on a banana boat - Banana boating is one of Boracay’s iconic activities where riders sit on an inflatable vessel while being dragged by a speedboat. This activity is best enjoyed with a big group of friends.
  • Join an island-hopping tour - There’s more to Boracay than White Beach. The island is actually surrounded by smaller islands, which can be visited by boat. Tours usually stop at Puka Shell Beach and a coral garden for snorkeling.

  • How to get around

Flights to Boracay from Metro Manila are offered by all local carriers’ multiple times a day. Some would land at Kalibo Airport, which is about two hours away from the island, while others fly straight to Caticlan, which is 15 minutes away. The tricycle is the primary mode of transportation in Boracay, but since the island is fairly small, getting around by foot is extremely doable.
