Somehow the stay was good but it could have been better if the food was great! They buffet breakfast before and I understand that due to the pandemic they are unable to do so. We were served a tastless fried chicken with dried garlic, garlic fried rice and an oily fried noodles. They could’ve prepared a better breakfast for us, like fried eggs, tocino, hotdog or they could’ve have asked us what we want. The food was a real disappointment!

    Apartment in Cubao

Nestled in the heart of Quezon City, Cubao used to be known as the old commercial center of Metro Manila’s biggest city. Sometime in the 1950s, a prominent Filipino family started to develop the district into the entertainment and leisure center that it is more known to Filipinos today.

    Smart Araneta Coliseum

For entertainment, Cubao has played host to many sporting events and music affairs. For leisure, you would often see many families spending their Sundays strolling around the mall, choosing between the best dining options available. Part of what has made the district so popular is its relatively easy access from almost any part of Metro Manila as many train and bus lines come through the area.

Why Book an Apartment for Rent in Cubao

With so many entertainment and dining options nearby, it would be highly recommended for you to consider renting an apartment in Cubao. If you are not much for staying home, popular entertainment centers are just a few steps away.

Unlike hotels, apartments allow you to experience the local color that is found in Metro Manila. Cubao is one of the few areas that greatly provide this as it is an ever-busy area, whether during the weekday grind or the eventful weekend. You would be able to experience what it is truly like to stay in the center of city life in Metro Manila. Each apartment is uniquely designed to provide the tenants with a home-like feel, something that is sometimes missed during hotel stays. The layout of each unit allows guests to have enough space for themselves.

    Types of Apartments

There are many apartment options available when choosing to stay in Cubao. It is important to determine what kind of apartment best suits your needs. Below are a few options to consider when staying in the area.

    Portovita Tower

  • Apartment With A View - With several decades of development under its belt, Cubao offers its people a beautiful skyline that can be seen from miles away. That’s why it’s a good idea to consider renting an apartment in Cebu with a view. There is certainly much to see when looking out the window, whether it is the beautiful sunrise or the flashing lights from the latest concert.
  • Apartment With A Kitchen - While there are so many dining options available, there is nothing that can quite come close to a home-cooked meal. As such, it’s a good idea to book an apartment in Cebu that has a kitchen. Many of these are located in areas that are near groceries and markets, which makes it easy to get the necessary ingredients without a hassle.

  • Destination Attractions and Activities

You would certainly need more than a day to cover all the destinations and attractions that can be found in Cubao. The popular district caters to the interests of all people. Below are a few options worth considering:

    Gateway Mall

  • Catch a basketball game at the Araneta Coliseum - It is no secret that Filipinos love basketball. It is for this reason that you should try watching a game live at the Araneta Coliseum. Interestingly, college basketball seems to be more popular than the local professional league.
  • Bargain Hunt At The Cubao Expo - While so much has been said about the “young at heart”, in Cubao Expo, it is all about the inner oldies. There you’ll find many vintage collectibles and antiques in shops like UVLA or the iconic, Grand Thrift House. While some are being sold at high prices, you will certainly be able to find a steal.
  • Shop at the Farmers Market - Cubao’s Farmers Market is one of the places where you can find the freshest seafood and vegetables. What’s best is that many of the produce being sold are usually cheaper than the ones found in supermarkets. The vendors also offer a wide range of products.

  • Getting Around

Located about 16 kilometers away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Cubao is a relatively easy place to get to. Both the Light Rail Transit and Metro Rail Transit pass through Cubao, while bus terminals can also be found here. For a more convenient option, ride-sharing services can also be hailed from anywhere in the area.
