Parbaba Beach Hotel

The hotel is recommended, you can really enjoy the beautiful beach at Lake Toba.

first impression arrived at the hotel at 12.00 but couldn't check in, had to wait until 14.00 even though the hotel was quiet and there were no guests and if you wanted to check in early you were asked to pay again 😩, after checking in at 14.00 the room turned out to be in a different building far from the beach/swimming pool NOT according to the picture finally upgraded the room, we stayed on a weekday, the hot water wasn't on, there was no soap, the TV only had 1 channel, the bathroom was dirty and the bed had lots of stains that wouldn't go away.

I booked a room facing directly to Lake Toba. The view from the balcony is very nice. The room is spacious and clean. Hot water is also available. There is direct access from the hotel to the beach. It takes less than 3 minutes to walk. There are 2 swimming pools available at the hotel.

handling of guest complaints is not very responsive, we asked about the TV not working but there was no response or repair, the same goes for the hot water in the bathroom, according to the officer we had to wait 5 minutes and it was still on, but we waited more than 15 minutes but it still didn't work

hotel is not clean a lot of lizard dirt. food taste is not good

The room is comfortable, the view is directly facing Lake Toba. Awesome

There is a pretty good change because there is a pool with a view of Lake Toba. Breakfast is less varied and the taste is lacking.

the blanket cover was dirty, there were stains, I asked for a replacement, there were still stains, changed to the 2nd one and was given a damp one, changed to the 3rd one still had stains. luckily the staff were friendly, so I wasn't upset. finally I just let it be, thank you guys for being very helpful. hopefully the owner will pay attention to the cleanliness of the facilities and infrastructure. the entrance road had a few puddles + quite large stones so it was a bit shocking, then the room was not soundproof, next to my room there was banging from the terrace because it was locked from the inside, around 4 am, it was very noisy, when we looked for the receptionist there wasn't one and the access door to the top was locked. it was impossible for us to reprimand them because we were avoiding conflict, then the hot water was also very warm. the breakfast was not very varied and the rice was a bit hard, if it was improved it would be even cooler. to all the staff, thank you, you are very friendly 😇. You could say this was the most extreme hotel check-in experience, why? Because when we arrived at the hotel at half past 10 at night we were immediately given the key but when we got to the room there was no water at all in the bathroom, they said it would be until 11 at night, we were already waiting, it was a long journey to the hotel, instead of resting right away, I asked for a better room, it was okay if I added the rest but the staff immediately said it was full. Hahah it's funny, in the end I decided to just go out and look for another accommodation.

Friendliness and speed in serving when I complained about the bathroom being less than clean.

Well, I have to be honest, the price rate is overpriced compared to others hotel can offer with same price rate at other place. Room is not clean especially the bed sheet. And one thing ta make make me disgusting is that there is still some shit/poop left in the bathroom toilet when we come check in. I hate to write this but I hope there is development. Because I'm from samosir and I'd love to see it grows.

The staff is not friendly. The room is dirty. Highly not recommended. Staff need to be trained here and there, so they can treat guests well.
