I love staying in lexis hibiscus as I do not need to think what sort of activities for my family. There are plenty of activities to busy with and the room is spacious with a big private pool which spent my kids for whole day in the room. Their service is fast, efficient and polite too. I love the ambience in the Lexis hibiscus. I will come back again definitely.

We spent 4 days 3 nights at the Grand Lexis Port Dickson, this place is a lovely vacation spot for anyone especially for the kids with private pool (kids friendly hotel). The staff were very tentative and friendly, rooms are cleaned up every day and any demand is resolved within minutes. Breakfast need improvement everyday is a same. Wonderful place to enjoy a quiet beach experience even the weather (rainy day) didn't spoil our holiday and most difficult moment was the day we had to leave this place. Highly recommended!

I stayed on the 8th Floor of Block B. Very nice view from Room 808. 3 mins walking distance to the beach. Easy to find food because nearby the beach area has a lot of food stall. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Mosque nearby to perform Friday prayers. Happy with the stay and will be back again on 28-30 Apr 2018.

The place is very good. Looks as in the pictures with many attractive activities to do. But the pool needs some cleaning of better rate of change of the water via bigger pump to filter the water. Might be because of too many people during my visit. Overall is very good place to stay.

I can't believe this is the quality of a 4 star hotel. I was welcomed by smelly room (smell like damp clothes), no hotel like smell. Floor was dusty, curtain full of mold/fungus, and the breakfast menu and taste are terrible. Breakfast from stalls nearby taste way better than so called 4 hotel.

The room not worth with the value, room was too old and floor very dirty, we must wear shoe at room. Breakfast price not cheap but just got little choice foods to eat. Staff services also very slow, need request extra one pillow also need charge. So disappointed for this holiday.

Have shared a good experience with this hotel on my previous stays but unfortunately not for this time. After entered into the room, found I was given a connecting room. Going for short vacation to rest and relax but the room given was not comfortable at all. Do call front desk to change to other room because too noisy with the next room guest talking so loud, kids shouting, playing and knocking the connecting door but they refused with reason there's no other room available and ALL rooms was fully booked. I went there on weekdays. The swimming pool and surrounding area also looks like not well maintained. So my vacation day and night to rest and relax in the hotel room wasted.

It was a smooth check in and check out. The staffs are helpful, friendly and most importantly very welcoming. The room is clean, air conditioner and water heater works fine. If you book your stay during the weekend you'll get to try their delicious food at their ' PASMA ' available from 630-10pm, every saturday if I'm not mistaken. A dinner with a view. My kids enjoy staying here.

About

Port Dickson is located in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia). It is about 1 hour 15 minutes driving or 90 km from Kuala Lumpur, through the North-South Expressway.

History of Port Dickson

Port Dickson is originally named from Sir John Frederick Dickson. He was a British High Officer who posted at the British Straits Settlement. Locals called Port Dickson as Tanjung (in English: cape) due to its geographic location.

During British Straits Settlement (1826-1946), Port Dickson used to produce charcoal. Since tin ore was discovered in Lukut (northern area), lots of Chinese miners came to the town.

Since then, Port Dickson became a busy trading centre. A 39 km railway was constructed in 1891, linked Port Dickson and Sungai Ujong (known as Seremban).

Those developments converted Port Dickson from a small town to an international business centre. More than 600 ships from Singapore were docked at Port Dickson to deliver goods to Sungai Ujong by train.
