I'm one of those people who rarely gives reviews of places to stay. My + comments about Luxcamp include: 1) The management is good, maybe because it is under Horison management, right? For the price of glamping, I think it's really worth it. Because it includes 3x meals, parking fees for the car you're staying in, porter for goods from the parking lot to the tent (although I'll give you another tip); The most important thing is to eat at a buffet, not a plate of fried rice or boxed rice. That's a plus point in my opinion. 2) The location is quite good, the air is cold to the point of bone chilling at night. And it's not far from the tea plantation and the finish line of the white water rafting, although I didn't try the white water rafting ride, because I was pregnant. So, the atmosphere of people going white water rafting is quite lively and interesting. 3) In my opinion, the service is very friendly. 4) There are also quite a lot of activities, and Aa, who is in charge of selling the services, also looks very experienced. 5) The bathroom is clean and aesthetic, the hot water uses a Rinnai water heater, very simple, the water heats up quickly. We like the Rinnai water heater. Oh yes, the bathroom is right next to the tent, and privacy is maintained even though the composition is 2 bathrooms for 3 tents. 6) Coincidentally, we ordered the dome tent in row 3 which is closest to the reception, so it wasn't too difficult to remember that I was bringing a pregnant woman. But if you have a box tent, you have to go back down and the elevation is not bad. 7) The dome tent is okay, because I use the one I usually see at Decathlon too, it's big enough for 2 adults and 1 small child to sleep comfortably without the luggage piling up. 8) There are lots of coffee trees in the area, so it's good material to tell children about coffee, so that they see the coffee fruit trees that their father always drinks from every morning. But of course, there are rooms for improvement. 1) About flies. It seems like it's fly season (beginning of the rainy season) in Pangalengan or something, but what's clear is that it's very uncomfortable, there are so many flies everywhere, not only in the Luxcamp area, but in other places such as Lake Cileunca and around the waiting post. ATV offroad area and in other locations, at least from what we saw while traveling around Pangalengan. But, I mean, usually if there are lots of flies, you can spray a mixture of water + Bayclin on the floor or on dining tables, on concrete or paths near tent areas and so on and so on. Or yes, add paper or straw fly traps in many corners. Or if I'm not mistaken, there is a kind of fly trap that is hung in the shape of a cloth and the trap uses a chemical solution to attract flies or uses liquid sugar and so on and so on so that when a fly gets into the hanging trap it can't get out and ends up drowning. 2) Maybe a Pangalengan tourist map needs to be displayed. So, so that guests who are visiting Pangalengan for the first time (like me and my family), it will be easier to get tourist information. 3) If there is genuine Pangalengan coffee for sale at a location, I really want to buy it. But, apparently there wasn't any. Advice for those who want to go to Luxcamp. 1) It's best to bring your own frozen meat from home for the BBQ. Because Luxcamp offers a BBQ Suki package, but it seems like the portions aren't big enough. If you bring your own frozen meat and other things for your family, it's better to spend a cold night enjoying yourself. 2) Bring extra blankets. Maybe at 10-11 at night it doesn't feel cold. The bone-chilling cold would come at 2-3 in the morning (I can remember, because I happened to wake up to go to the toilet). Of course, using eucalyptus oil before bed is also important for those who bring small children to the location. Maybe that's what I can convey, finches, birds of paradise, that's enough and thank you.
