What is Traveloka COVID-19 Protection?
Traveling in the midst of a pandemic can be worrisome. Therefore, Traveloka aims to equip travelers with this free COVID-19 insurance.
The insurance will be automatically included in every flight ticket purchased via Traveloka Indonesia during the program period. With this insurance, Traveloka can help cover you in case you get infected with COVID-19 during your travels.
This insurance is exclusively applicable to Indonesian residents age 70 years or younger on the date of departure.

- The insurance is only applicable to flight tickets purchased during the program period, via Traveloka Indonesia (Traveloka App or sites with Indonesia as their country setting).
- The insurance is only applicable to Indonesian residents. Indonesian residents include Indonesian citizens, permanent residents, work permit holders, temporary or permanent stay permit holders, long-term social visit pass holders, or student pass holders.
- If traveling alone, the Insured Person must be 18 – 70 years old on the departure date. Children age 14 days to 18 years old can be covered by the insurance only if they travel with an adult age 18 – 70 years old. Infants younger than 14 days old will not be covered by this insurance.
- The claim is only valid if the date of infection or diagnosis falls within the coverage period. The coverage period is 14 days, starting from the departure date.
- If you book a round-trip or multi-city flight, you will only be covered with 1 insurance policy. The 14-day coverage period will begin on the departure date of your first flight.
- One person can only be covered with 1 insurance policy at a time. For example, if you book 2 flights via Traveloka that departs within the same week with each other, only 1 of the insurance policy will be valid to be claimed.
- If the traveler cancels their flight ticket booking, then the insurance will be no longer applicable.
- Claims must be submitted directly to Chubb, at the latest 30 days after the incident.

Prepare the required documents (please refer to the Required Documents tab).
Email the completed Claim Form and documents to Chubb (travel.id@chubb.com).
Chubb will process the claim in 14 working days. Once the claim is approved by Chubb and the Insured Person, Chubb will make the payment within 30 days.
