Description: Legoland Malaysia offers endless fun and educational activities with an international theme park standard.
Lego lovers will find their dream come true at Legoland Malaysia. Guests will see endless blocks of Lego, arranged to form various objects. Sprawling on a 76-hectare wide area, Legoland is one of the most popular destinations for local, Asian, and international travellers. Visit now and enjoy eight great activities suitable for kids and children here.
Ever dreamed of becoming a powerful ninja and defeating a dragon? Lego Ninjago The Ride is a 4D ride that allows you to do both. The ride is equipped with 4D glasses. Each visitor wears the glasses to experience the effects during the “fighting”. The Ninjago ride has motion sensors that detect your movements, connected to the glasses. You can produce weapons and beat the “enemies” even without any equipment. The games feel more realistic thanks to effects such as smoke, wind, and heat. Visitors must be at least 1.15m tall or 6 years old to be eligible. Anyone under the height or age limit must be accompanied by an older person, minimum 16 years old.
Get ready for some splashes when you visit Legoland. Dino Island is a boat ride that takes you in an adventurous “sailing”. The ride sails past a terrifying stream, volcano, carnivorous trees, and of course dinosaurs. You will feel like an adventurer from movies or comic books. Finally, the ride will take a plunge 12m down, and the resulting splashes will make you soaking wet. Don’t forget to bring spare clothes and raincoats.
Miniland is the iconic feature of the Legoland, featuring the replicas of 17 world’s landmarks made of Lego blocks. You can see amazing details of Taj Mahal, Petronas Twin Towers, or Merlion Statue. It took around 30 million Lego blocks to form the mini landmarks. Some of the landmarks can move with a simple touch of button. Children will find the Miniland fun and educational. Staff members will guide the guests while explaining about each landmark. The guided tour is available every Friday to Sunday, from 16.00 to 17.00 local time.
Children usually love role-playing like adults; one of them is trying to drive a car. Driving School is an area where children can learn how to drive. It has real circuits that look like roads, with an asphalt surface and traffic signs. In this area, children will learn to drive in a small group. Each drives a mini car shaped like a Lego. The children will watch a fun movie about road safety before practising.
The Observation Tower is 41m high and one of the most favourite areas for adults. The top part can do a 360-degree turn, giving you an unobstructed view to the Legoland area. To climb into the tower, you must be at least 6 years old or 1.2m tall. Children younger than that needs a guardian, who must be at least 16 years old.
If you love building Lego architectures, test your creativity at Build and Test. Here, you can build any constructions you want using Lego blocks, and have them tested with an earthquake simulator. You can also make cars and compete with other people in a mini Lego race car. Since wheels are rare parts, you must hunt for them quickly!
Dragon Rollercoaster has a dragon-shaped train that flies past a “kingdom”. The rollercoaster offers quite thrilling swirls and dips, so make sure your children are at least 6 years old or 1m tall to try it. Children younger than 6 years old can try Dragon’s Apprentice, a smaller roller coaster (under parent’s supervision).
Legoland Waterpark offers various water play areas. You can surf in the wave pool or lazily float in the Build-a-Raft. The slides are 40 and 73m high, perfect for adrenaline junkies. Duplo Splash Safari is a more suitable pool for toddlers, while other areas are suitable for kids and adults. You need around two days to explore everything Legoland offers. Traveloka offers various package offers in the forms of e-tickets. For example, you can purchase a one-day or two-day pass, which is cheaper. Show your e-tickets from your phone at the entrance of Legoland Malaysia or print them if you visit during the peak season to anticipate network problem.
