A-One New Wing Hotel

Nice hotel, big room, clean. Delicious & various food for breakfast, very close to the beach. And the pool is very very nice.

I haven’t even been to the room yet. I don’t know if it was a problem with the hotel or app (I’ve never had a problem like this with app before though) but on arrival there was no record of our booking. Even though I had received an email before arriving confirming that our special request was accepted, the front desk staff could find no record of the 2 room booking. After 30 minutes of waiting, I enquiries from another staff member if they had found the booking. She rather abruptly showed me the printed sign showing check in at 14:00 (we arrived around 11:00) and didn’t seem to comprehend that whilst I might wait for 2pm to check in I was not going to wait or return if they couldn’t at least find my booking. They made us wait sometime before finally accepting we could check in (I suspect they just checked us in anyway as they wanted to photograph my booking page showing what we were expecting to pay). Another pet peeve of mine is the ‘security deposit’. I’ve become somewhat used to it in Thailand and often pay 200฿-500฿. This hotel insists on 3000฿ which I think is excessive for a one night stay. It is almost the same as a 1 night stay. App - you need to include a hotel’s policy on security deposits. Disappointing start to a holiday with my friends who have just arrived from UK. My friend advised that we only book for 1 night initially and we can look for an alternative if this booking was not satisfactory. Wise advice. We’ve started looking for alternatives already.

Clean school, rooms ok But there are many tour groups. Not enough parking Any household with children will have to pay an additional 300 baht for breakfast. There is a 5 year old child at home who is over 100cm tall. was charged an additional 300 I secretly regret the money because the child didn't eat any breakfast.

The hotel is great! The location I think is quite ok, every time I read the reviews, I think it's near the sea, the opposite is the sea, but it's not. It takes about 5-10 minutes to go to the beach. My family has 3 people, the hotel has an extra bed of 700 baht / night. I find the service here very good, the staff is friendly, the lobby air conditioner is on all day. The room is also very nice and chill, in general, 10 points for quality 💯
