The Joglo Beratan

10/10 the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel staff is very friendly. Cool exterior. Good food and affordable price. No WiFi but the lake view is beautiful and quiet. Suitable for staycations. This hotel also provides camping and grill packages. Like!

The room we stayed in was in the traditional joglo style, full wood building, rustic feel. This inn is right next to Lake Beratan, the view is extraordinary. The owner is friendly, the food service is good, the taste is good, you can request a barbecue too. Recommended, especially for those who want to spend the night by the lake but don't really like sleeping in a tent. Joglo Beratan is more like a cafe but there are rooms to stay. If you want to hang out, just go to the cafe, you don't need to look for other places. It's just comfortable.

Second time here, still a fav place if you want to stay in Bedugul. There aren't many night lights, so the courtyard is a bit dark. TV broadcasts are not much.

Highly recommended, really. Hopefully next time can come here again. Just a suggestion, it's best if it's not free, don't put it in the room, because it will be considered free (yesterday's experience). There should be a stand for snacks.

The hotel itself is actually very nice, but. It has no WiFi, all TV channels were blurred, and since my room was near the kitchen, tje smell of food cooking was overwhelming. But the Soto Ayam breakfast was delicious.

The room matches the description, including according to other visitor reviews which are said to be near the cowshed. For 2 rooms other than the joglo one, it is close to the cowshed outside the fence which is a neighbor of the resort. The blower in the bathroom needs to be turned on continuously to get rid of the smell and keep the room cool. Rooms without air conditioning, quite cold because of the mountain air. The rooms are close to the cafe/lobby. There is a visitor's chair in front of the room, where if the cafe is crowded, privacy will be disturbed. The room is quite spacious, there is a kitchen table, sink, soap, shampoo, towels, coffee, tea, sugar and heater, guest table chair set, tv and hard disk with films, soft and thick mattresses and blankets, hanging cabinets. A welcome drink, a kind of herbal drink, is provided. Hot and cold water works well. The driveway to the site is the size of 1 car, and there are steep climbs/downhills. Parking is available for 1-2 cars at night, previously parked on the street in front of the cafe. There is a meadow in front of the room which is about the size of a futsal field, before colliding with the edge of the lake. The price of food at the cafe is quite worthy in the range of 20-30 thousand and above. The receptionist who is a cafe waitress is friendly and eager to help. Kids are happy here.

The room is quite large, I book a room without air conditioning because it is on the slopes of a mountain so it is quite cold even without air conditioning, the room is quite clean and spacious, a bit disturbed by flies entering the room because it is next to a cow pen, and only 2 room lights, bathroom lights less bright.

It's actually quite cool, especially in the morning. The air is very cold with a view of the lake. But what is not good is that there is a kind of smell. It smells like cow dung. Very smelly. Luckily we always kept our bedroom door closed. In the future, a solution must be found regarding this matter.
