Hotel Tugu Blitar (Tugu Sri Lestari)

The staff are all friendly, although most are seniors. The room smells like aromatherapy, the concept is old school but classic. Top service and everything. The location is very strategic in the city center.

My 1st staying in Tugu Hotel. Easy access to "aloon-aloon" as good track of morning run. The city road is also good for morning exercise. Many shops at the surrounding, convenience. Full history of Soekarno and antique things in this hotel. Peaceful.

Have stayed at this Tugu Hotel twice. It is an old hotel & very well maintained. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The AC in the room is cold, hot water is no problem, the service is very good, the staff are friendly, the food is all delicious. Keep it up, thank you 🙏

Lokasi sangat strategis karena terletak di tengah kota dan dekat dengan alun-alun. Kamar tergolong tua dan kamar mandi-mandidi luar-luarsehingga terlihat agak spooky, tapi sebenarnya aman. Lampu di kamar juga agak temaram, dapat diperbaiki sehingga lebih terang. Makanan saat sarapan tergolong enak dan harga makanan untuk room service juga tergolong standar (tidak terlalu mahal). Parkir terbatas hanya di beberapa spot. Pelayanan sangat baik dan ramah, khas orang-orang Indonesia yang terkenal ramah. Overall, cocok bagi traveler yang suka dengan nuansa tradisional dan vintage.

Pelayanan ramah sekali, kamar lumayan bersih, walau kesan hotel tua sangat terasa. Sarapan juga lumayan enak juga.

Saya menyesal menginap di sini semalam dan pilih kamar paling murah tanpa lihat yang lain. Ketika selesai sarapan saya keliling hotel dan menemukan kamar khusus yang keren banget. Kamar Bung Karno. Aduh, nyesel banget. Begitu klasik, begitu rapi, koleksi bukunya, penantaan interiornya, pokoknya kalau saya rasanya ingin berlama-lama di kamar itu sambil menulis, membaca, diskusi. Jadi, hotel ini tuh mirip Hotel Tugu Malang. Ownernya juga sama. Kesan pertama sih nyaman banget dengan keramahan stafnya. Njawani banget dan sangat full hospitality. Saya hanya menginap semalam untuk urusan bisnis, dan tergesa ingin istirahat, jadi tidak sempat membaca semua ulasan atau milih kamar. Saya ambil yang paling atas di aplikasi. Ternyata tidak mengecewakan. Dengan harga segitu saya merasa dapat fasilitas lebih dari cukup. Air putih, teh, kopi, kettle ada. Sandal jepit, handuk, sabun, sampo, sikat gigi, pasta gigi, shower cap ada. TV, AC, lampu tidur, gantungan baju, kulkas, side table ada. Masih ketambahan 2 kursi lagi. Wastafel ada, kaca cermin ada. Kamar mandi bersih, shower panas dingin, toilet duduk. Cuma sayangnya colokan kettle ga di dekat bar, jadi harus bawa ke side bed table. Non Smoking ya, tapi di depan kamar ada meja kursi, buat merokok bisa. Minesnya kalau menurut saya hanya di kasurnya yang memang spring bed dan tanpa pelapis lagi, jadi ya memang tidak terlalu empuk. Kelemahan spring bed kan memang kalau pirnya aus, bangun tidur bisa pegel semua badan. Restorannya oke. Gak banyak menu, tapi pecelnya aja enak banget. Menu yang lain juga enak. Diserve dengan sangat berkelas. Restoran meski agak terbuka tapi non smoking, kalau yang smoking di depan resepsionis. Yang saya suka dari hotel ini selain gaya klasiknya adalah soal bagaimana menunjukkan "berkelas" tanpa harus mahal atau susah susah. Tempat sampo misalnya, itu tembikar doang tapi bagus. Wrappingnya alat mandi, cover buku menu, juga hanya kertas daur ulang atau malah cuma kardus gitu saja, tapi kesannya ramah lingkungan karena ditata rapi. Samponya juga sepertinya natural karena ada bau bau seperti rempah. Sesuai banget dengan konsep hotelnya. Klasik, alami. Kalau ke Blitar lagi saya pasti menginap di hotel ini. Atau bahkan saya berencana liburan sendirian bersama buku-buku di hotel ini. Note ya, walau bangunan gedung ini sangat-sangat tua (200an th) tapi gak ada serem-seremnya ya. Biasa aja. Ga ada aneh aneh. Terima kasih Hotel Tugu. Anda luar biasa menjaga warisan leluhur dan sejarah.
