Accommodation Policy & General Information in Hatten Hotel Melaka
As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Re-Imposition of Tourism Tax by Registered Operator of Accommodation Premise Will Be Effective from 1st January 2023. Kindly be informed that the exemption of tourism tax on foreign tourist staying at a registered accommodation premise will end on 31st December 2022. Accordingly, the imposition of tourism tax on foreign tourist staying at a registered premise will be re-imposed effective from 1st January 2023.
Please note that all bookings are subject to an additional Heritage Charge of MYR 2, per room, per day.
